Brooke's POV
After the show was over, I was getting my stuff backstage when Peyton came. "Hey there RockStar" He said, smiling. "Hey" I giggled. "You were so amazing Brooke!"
"Thanks" I said, forcing a smile. "What's wrong? You look down" Peyton asked, his smile quickly fading. "Nothing..did you see Ross here by any chance?" I asked. "Um no, I don't think so. Did he say he was gonna come?"
"Yeah he promised like 5 times but I didn't see him..." I said, looking at the ground. "Don't worry, I bet he has a good explanation"
"Thanks, he better" I said, grabbing my bag. "Are your parents here?" He asked, as we started walking. "Yah I gotta go find them"
"Alright, I guess I'll see you later then"
"Bye" I said, then we went our separate ways. Once I found my parents, they told me and Connor how amazing we were then we went home. When we got home, I had a snack then went to my room. I checked my phone and saw that Ross tried FaceTiming me a couple of times. So I decided to FaceTime him back and see what happened. "Hey" I said, once he answered. "Oh hey" He said back. "Sorry I didn't answer earlier, I just got back" I told him. "It's cool, I just wanted to say I'm super duper sorry I didn't make it to your show" Ross said, sounding like he really meant it. "What happened?"
"I thought we were leaving for tour at 6:00 but apparently it was 5:00. And we couldn't leave at 6:00 cause we have Interviews to do at specific times tonight" He explained. At least he had a good explanation. "Oh that makes sense..."
"But I saw a little bit of your performance when we drove past the park!" He said, trying to lighten the mood. "Really?" "Yah and even though I wasn't there, I know you did great" Ross said, smiling. "Thanks, and I know you'll do great on tour" I said, smiling back. "Hey Ross, we're here!" I heard a girl said. "Oh I gotta go" Ross said. "Ok have fun"
"I'll try but it'd be more fun with you"
"And sitting on my bed in my room would be more fun with you too" I giggled. "I'll take pictures and everything! Love you babe"
"Love you too, bye" I said, smiling then hung up. A minute after I hung up, I missed him already. Man, has it been two months yet?
