I wake with a massive headache. I open the drawer and take a pill for my hangover. What happened last night? I start thinking of what happened, I remember going to a bar. Bea! I don't remember much but I remember seeing her there. Gosh, I hope I did nothing stupid. I freshen up and go downstairs. I don't see my dad around, only Katherine and Hope. I bend down and kiss Hope's cheeks before wishing Katherine good morning. I eat my breakfast and hang around the house to play with Hope. She ends up dressing me up as some Disney princess and takes a picture of me on her mum's phone.

After lunch, I leave the house to buy some groceries that Katherine needs. I stop the car by the grocery store and go inside to pick up everything she listed down. When I come back outside, I'm surprised to see Teagan with another guy walking into an ice cream shop. "Go in there," Zayden says casually as my conscience. I put the bag in the car and run across the road.

"Don't let her see you," he warns.

So you want me to eavesdrop? I roll my eyes.

   "Yes, Hayden yes I do,"

Without them noticing I get in and sit in the booth before theirs.

"Are you okay?" I hear the guy ask.

"Y-yes." I can tell she is not.

Then I hear sniffles and feel bad that she is crying. I only hope that guy is hugging her. To confirm that I hear the chair scrape on the floor.

   "Oh, Teagan."

"I'm sorry about my parents." Parents?

   "It's okay."

   "It's just-"

"Shhhh you don't have to explain anything to me until you are ready."

Then there is silence. I hear more sniffles and I feel the urge to go hug her. I stand up and leave the shop with a loud sigh. I get into the car and drive. I drive down the road and I see Bea coming out of the subway. I quickly turn the car and drive up to her.

   "Bea!"

She turns and looks at me. A broad smile creeps on her face. I stop the car and get down.

"Hey, how are you?" She asks.

"I'm good. I'm extremely sorry about yesterday," I tell her, placing my hand in my pockets.

   "It's okay."

"I don't remember much. Did I do something embarrassing?"

"No. Don't worry. Oh and here is the money you paid for the Uber, " she says and takes out some cash.

"Uber?" I don't take my hands from my pocket hoping she'd get the hint that I don't want the cash.

"Yeah. I drove you home and you put me in an Uber and sent me."

"Oh my- I'm so sorry -"

"Hey, Hayden it's fine. You were kind enough to book an Uber for me. Just take this-."

"No. No, keep the cash. Please, the ride was all on me," I tell her with a hand wave.

   "But-"

"C'mon, we're like friends now. Not strangers." She hesitates but then nods and puts it in her bag.

"Where are you going? I'll drop you off, " I tell her.

"It's okay. My workplace is just here."

   "C'mon, I insist. I'm bored anyways. I don't mind going for a drive. C'mon."
