"Hello?" I called out, pounding on the door, shouting to be heard over the pouring rain. "Sapnap? George?" I knocked again. "Dream?"

Me and Karl were both standing outside the house that I was held captive in for about two weeks, completely drenched. I stood next to Karl and I could feel him shaking, although I knew it wasn't from the cold. I knew how much he had dreamt about this moment in his time stuck in the in-between and now that he was here, he felt nervous, which was only understandable.

"How are you feeling?" I asked softly, although I already knew the answer.

"Honestly, I don't know what to feel. I spent so long in the in-between and the only emotions that I felt there was fading hope, frustration and desperation. I haven't felt like this in ages." He laughed. "I feel like a hopeless teenager about to go on their first date."

I laughed along with him. "Well, I guess it's something like that."

"Not really." Karl looked at me sheepishly, a faint blush tinging his cheeks pink. "We're, er, how do I break the news to you...well, he's my fiancé."

I stared at him. "You wha-"

At that moment the door opened, taking us both by surprise. I cleared my throat and stepped forwards.

"Hello George." I said, smiling. George smiled faintly back, looking confused.

"Um, hello Y/n..." He looked at Karl uncertainly. "...and friend."

"Oh! Um, George, meet my brother." I said and Karl stepped forwards and held out his hand.

"Hi, I'm Karl." Karl said, giving George a small smile. George shook his hands awkwardly. "Karl Jacobs."

I could see George's eyes widen from behind his glasses. He stopped shaking Karl's hand and pulled away, just looking at him, his mouth hanging open just a bit. Me and Karl just stood there awkwardly, glancing at each other, waiting for George to say something.

"Wait, like Karl Jacobs, Karl Jacobs?" He said finally, sounding surprised. "Like Sapnap's Karl Jacobs?"

Karl nodded uncertainly. I gave George a weird look.

"How many other Karl Jacobs do you know?" I said, crossing my arms. George glared at me.

"Tone down the sass, I'm still trying to process it and you're not helping." He said. "Karl Jacobs, I can't believe it..." He muttered under his breath. He turned to look at me suddenly. "And he's your brother?"

"Yes, that's what I said."

"How come you never told us?"

"You didn't ask. How was I supposed to know that you knew my older brother?"

"Actually, I don't know who he is." Karl said, stepping in. "You haven't exactly given us a full introduction, you know." He said to me.

"Oh. Well, George, you obviously know who Karl is." George rolled his eyes and I smiled to myself. "Karl, this is Georgenotfound. He helped to kidnap me a few months ago and also held me hostage. Oh, and, not to forget, held a grudge against me because I beat him in a 1v1 and he basically starved me."

George looked at Karl nervously but Karl's lips curled into a smile.

"Then I have a lot of respect for this guy." Karl said. "Nice to meet you George."

"What?" I turned around to face Karl, who smiled innocently at me. "You're my brother!"

Karl shrugged. "I am your brother. Well spotted Y/n, well done. You continue at that pace, you'll be learning your alphabet soon." He sighed loudly. "Children grow up so fast these days."
