The flower crown sat limp in my palms and it reminded me of L'manburg. How we used to be so strong and united but now we're all slowly falling apart.

All because of this war.

The door opened and Dream walked in. I looked at him in disgust.

All because of him

His walk contained his usual confidence and power, but I could just about make out a small limp in his leg where I cut it open. I mentally congratulated myself for that.

"So, I've just been down to see Wilbur again." Dream said. I raised my head to look at him. "To discuss the bow duel."

"What about it?" I asked eagerly.

"It's still happening." I could tell he was smirking at my reaction. "But just postponed to a later date."

"When?"

"Next week." I bit my lip and nodded. So Wilbur bought Tommy a bit of time. I could've just laughed right there. A week for what? Training? You have to have been training for years if you wanted to beat Dream.

"What's the catch?" I asked suddenly.

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you agree to it?"

"Because, I'm a nice person?"

"I doubt you did that out of kindness." I said, rolling my eyes.

"You're right. Maybe I just want to see Tommy rushing around for a week, preparing, knowing that his life is on a timer."

"Please don't kill him."

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't."

"He's a child."

"Y/n, I made myself very clear when I told you my rules what would happen if you don't follow them. I made it very clear that I would kill your friends. And, guess what? You broke the rules, Y/n. So now, Tommy will pay for it."

I knew that simply begging him would not do anything and I knew that whatever Wilbur says, it wouldn't influence him either. I had to find another way to save Tommy somehow.

"Fine. Kill him. You can live with the blood of a child on your hands for the rest of your life. A child that doesn't even know how to live a normal life because of you and your stupid wars."

"You're trying to guilt-trip me. Good try." He sounded amused. "But you're manipulation doesn't work on me."

"I'm not trying to manipulate you."

"As a incredibly wise person once said," He looked at me. "You're actions are very transparent."

I tilted my head. "Touché" I took Eret's jacket off of my lap. "Can I sleep now?" Dream raised an eyebrow.

"Wearing that?" He pointed his index finger at my- well, Georges- bloodstained sweatpants and muddy sweater, not to mention Tubbo's ripped jacket. I hated to agree with him but honestly, I could see where he was coming from.

"Can I have some new clothes then?" Dream chuckled and walked over to his dresser and pulled out some clothes from a drawer. He threw them at me and I caught them. He pointed to the bathroom and I got off the bed and walked into the bathroom to get changed, careful not to pull apart my stitches.

I thought that Tubbo's and George's clothes were big but when I put on the green sweater and grey sweatpants that Dream gave me, I looked like a child in them. The sweater was incredibly big and I had to roll my sleeves up many times. The sweatpants were also very big and didn't fit me around the waist so I got the hairband around my wrist and tied the waistband to fit my waist. I looked in the mirror at my hair and found it, unsurprisingly, a mess. However, the upside of this bathroom was that it was Dream's personal one, which meant that I quickly found a hairbrush in one of the cabinets. I brushed out my hair until it was no longer tangled. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Dream already lying on the bed, but I felt as if there was something off about him. It took me a few seconds to realize that his famous white mask was sitting on the bedside table, and I froze. I didn't know whether I should just walk over there and pretend like I didn't see anything or say something. I guess I spent too long deciding because Dream suddenly sat up and looked at me.

He was, well, annoyingly attractive. I was surprised at how innocent and young he looked, his nose dotted with freckles, his lips pink and soft-looking and his sharp jawline. What surprised me the most was his eyes. They were a deep forest-green, dark, but also, somewhat mesmerising. I couldn't believe that this is the same person that kidnapped me, started a war and is threatening to kill my friends.

"Are you just gonna stand there for the rest of the night?" He gives me a look. I found it weird that I could actually read his facial expressions.

"Where am I gonna sleep then, the floor?"

Dream rolled his eyes, his lips curling at the edge. "There's plenty of room on the bed."

I stared at him. "I'm not gonna sleep in the same bed as you. Nope. No way."

"Awww, are you shy?" He teased. I gritted my teeth. He knew exactly how to torment me. "You can't sleep anywhere else."

"Why can't I sleep on the couch downstairs?"

"Because I don't trust you. I need to keep an eye on you after your little stunt today."

"I'm not-" I paused, a plan starting to form in my head. This could be the way.

"You're not what?" He smirked.

"God, please just shut up." I climbed into the bed next to him. I made sure that I was as far away as possible from Dream and I heard him sigh.

"You know, you're gonna fall off of the bed." I sat up.

"Well, then that's my problem, isn't it?"

"Not if you roll off the bed, rip your stitches and then bleed out on the floor while I'm asleep."

I tilted my head, smiling. "Glad to know you care about my health."

"I don't. I don't care about you whatsoever. Remember that." With that, he turned off the lights and turned around so that I was left facing his back. And, sitting there in the dark, I knew that over this week, I only had one mission.

Make him care.
