Ji was surprised to find himself irritated by his rangers. Rather than following his orders, they were following Antonio's.

Their trust in the extra ranger was greater than their trust in their mentor... and he took this to heart.

Not to mention, Ji did not like the gold ranger for his reasons.

Antonio took matters into his own hands in making himself a ranger and also in this moment.

He disregarded tradition and was not well versed in the ways of the samurai.

But all Ji could do now was wait and watch Jayden suffer as the others played their respective roles.

Ji sighed and decided it would be more productive to find and tend to Mia's brother, who was with the brides outdoors.

As time passed, Mike could do nothing but bounce his eyes from Jayden, to Antonio, to Kevin, to Arachnion, and back around.

Overtime, Kevin's arms began to become weary, but he fought through it.

All of Kevin's diligence and perfectionism as a samurai poured into this moment. His pain and weariness were his last concern.

As Kevin continued to clear the toxins from her poison, Arachnion became more maddened. Mad beyond belief.

Arachnion was entrusted with a grand plan to introduce new nighlok to the world.

But as she was beginning to dry up due to her injuries, she had no way of making it to the Sansu. Especially with a sword through her chest and a sword at her neck.

But at least, she there were two new nighlok out there in the other world. And she believed that her leader, who was the lost Serrator, would've been proud of her.

It took time but finally, Antonio developed a modified version of Ji's symbol, which would derive power from Lauren's tiger disc.

"It's done." Antonio let the rangers know.

Ready to put it to the test, Antonio approached the nighlok.

With the touch of a few buttons, the black and bright gold symbol appeared before him.

It became large and shone brightly before it floated towards the nighlok's head, but stopped before reaching it.

An imprint of the symbol plastered itself on Arachnion's head and was absorbed through her skin.

Mike immediately stepped back, moving more towards Jayden.

"No-!!" Arachnion's twisted spirit began to leave her body through her mouth, which stretched into a long and craggy shape.

Her eight eyes that glowed occasionally were drained of all light as her deep purple spirit was pulled from her body.

Human spirits were a yellowish gold, but this one had a frightening aura with black lightning bursting, crackling, and intertwining around it.

Arachnion began to turn into lifeless ashes as the dark spirit began to zig zag and jolt towards the black and gold symbol that stopped before reaching her.

Naturally, her tail slipped cleanly out of Jayden, causing blood to gush out of his back.

Mike quickly caught Jayden before he could fall, and carried him away from Arachnion.

Immediately, he laid Jayden on his stomach and began to press down on his wound with a piece of silk he ripped from the walls of the cake.

Kevin continued to shoot pellets from his hydro bow to ensure that the poison wouldn't take ahold of Jayden.

As Arachnion's dark spirit made it's way to the portal, it twitched and alternated between different speeds.

Once the dark aura of Arachnion's spirit meshed with the portal, a grand light began to blare from the portal.

It was so blindingly bright, that even when the rangers closed their eyes, they still couldn't bare the light.

When the light began to dim, the symbol was embedded on the portal, causing it to slowly close in and fade into nothingness.

Did this mean that the portal was sealed? Were they free from ranger duties for the time being?

Antonio immediately sat down, his head pounded like crazy.

As he sat, he looked around for his samuraizer, only to realize that it was exploded into pieces right before him.

"Let's head back quickly." Kevin snapped the rangers out of their urge to rest and process what happened.

The first thing on Kevin's mind was still Terry, and he was ready to get a move on.

Kevin went to pick up Lauren's tiger disc from the ruins of Antonio's samuraizer.

Something didn't seem right about it. As he did a double take, he noticed what he picked up was a blank white disc.

The tiger zord was no longer there.
