"This should be easy." Acies jumped out of the rink and glided straight towards the gold ranger.

She twirled her yo-yo before whirling it towards him.

With his barracuda blades, Antonio quickly deflected the yo-yo and attempted to slash Acies in return.

However, she dodged his blades with ease as her wheels keeping her in motion.

And just as Antonio wasn't expecting it, Exspira shot a plasmic blast at his back.

Antonio hissed from the blow, which stunned him for a moment.

"Nice shot!" Acies took his vulnerable state as an opportunity to bash him with her yo-yo.

The hit was hard and caused Antonio to crash into the wall, leaving a dent before sliding to the floor.

It all happened so fast.

"Dammit." Lauren knew that Antonio could no longer fight, but wasn't sure of her next move.

She knew that the other rangers were making their way towards the roller rink because of the gap sensors.

If she sat around and waited for them to come, would it be too late for Antonio? A moment of hesitation could end up killing him.

Or should she reveal that she is the black ranger and fight them off?

"What's wrong gold ranger? Can't put up a fight?" Acies demeaned him.

Antonio needed to get up quickly, but his body ached too badly. Not to mention his head was spinning.

He felt frustrated with himself. All he needed to do was stall long enough for the others to arrive. Long enough for Lauren not to get involved.

But as there was no sign of the other rangers' arrival, he clearly couldn't fulfill his task.

Acies rolled next to Exspira. "Kill him."

"A moment teh." Obediently, Exspira began molding a ball of plasmic energy into a floating spear.

As the plasmic energy became sharper, Antonio's fright increased. He tried to move but couldn't bring himself to stand.

But somehow in the midst of his terror, he could've sworn that he heard Jayden's voice.

The second the spear developed a defined point, it flew straight towards Antonio, locked on his head.

Antonio didn't even have time to brace himself before the glowing plasma was right before him.

He closed his eyes, expecting to be in heaven when he opened them. But when he took a peep, the plasmic spear was knocked beside him before it faded away.

"Jayden?" Antonio spoke before his eyes processed the color in front of him; black.

"What?! Who is this?!" Acies was astonished.

"Teh?! So quick!" Exspira quivered. "A moment later and I could've taken off her arm."

What? Antonio finally grasped that Lauren stood before him, with a bloody gash on her left shoulder.

"Dammit!" Jayden's voice approached the two of them. He was upset that he couldn't make it on time to save Antonio.

Now all of the rangers were in the picture. Kevin, Mia, and Mike went straight at the two nighlok. Jayden and Emily were right before the black and gold ranger.

"You have to get out of here." Jayden's voice was serious to a frightening degree as he wrapped a cloth around Lauren's arm. "Hide now!"

Lauren shook her head. "They've already seen me. That leaves no choice but to kill them immediately."

Jayden nodded at her before they both joined the battle.

As they fought, Mia noticed a pattern between the two nighlok's attacks.

While Acies was a close ranged and confrontational fighter, Exspira was long ranged and even seemed afraid.

"The ghost nighlok is weak. She can't handle upfront attacks." Mia told her findings to Lauren.

"She might run away." Lauren responded.

And she was right. Exspira went from backing Acies up with projectiles to trying to flee the battle.

Mike and Kevin tried to catch her but Exspira shot them, causing them to be pushed back.

Lauren tried to chase Exspira but found herself entangled in Acies's yo-yo.

At the corner of her eye, Acies saw that Jayden was about to attacked her. In response, she yanked the black ranger towards her, using her as a shield.

"What?" Jayden ended up slashing Lauren.

"Good bye rangers teh!" Exspira found the courage to give them a farewell with a wave.

But just as Exspira was slipping through a crevice, Mia caught her arm and yanked it with all her might.

"Ahhh!" As Exspira was being pulled into their world, she knew she hand to think quick. So she swung her other arm around and placed it on Mia's chest.

Exspira then focused plasmic energy at her palm, which began to sting Mia.

"Agh!" Mia cried from the unusual stinging sensation.

"Let go of me, or I'll make it worse teh!" Exspira threatened Mia.

Mia ignored her and continued to pull out of the crevice, even though the stinging in her chest was becoming more intense.

"You've asked for this!" Exspira's plasmic energy became much stronger and exponentially more painful.

Mia tried to hold her for as long as she could, hoping that Mike and Kevin would hurry up and come. But as they were making their way, Mia couldn't hold her any longer.

Mia let go and demorphed, launching Exspira through the crevice. The sting hurt so bad that she couldn't speak.

"This is bad." Kevin kneeled on the floor and lifted Mia in his arms. She was shaking yet barely conscious.

On the other hand, Antonio was out of commission and Lauren got injured by Acies and Jayden.

And even though Jayden and Emily had finished off Acies, their situation was absolutely dire.

What would happen now that the knowledge of the black ranger's existence had just entered the other world?

With Acies dead, the rangers began to make their way home until a great crash shook the earth and turned the sky pitch black.

"It can't be."
