36 - Amusement Park / Magic

    "We all deserve a break." Jayden held up 7 tickets. "So let's go to the amusement park."

    "Huh?!" Those were the last words everyone expected to come out of their leader's mouth.

The rangers entered the amusement park, 7 Tlags.

The amusement park was more decorative than it was lively. It was a school day, so the park was filled with college students and skipping high school teens.

"I guess we blend right in." Jayden commented on all of the teens and young adults.

Sometimes, the rangers forgot that they were of the youth, with their entire lives ahead of them. But they couldn't slow down with the weight of the world on their shoulders.

"I've never been to an amusement park." Emily looked around excitedly.

She wanted to spend the day without the weight of her loss crushing her. Ultimately, she needed to begin picking herself up and learn how to tolerate her grief in a way that wasn't damaging.

"That's crazy! You must ride your first rollercoaster!" Mike declared.

"Sounds like a plan." Kevin admitted. He wanted to take steps towards being loosening up. Maybe a few rollercoasters was the way to go.

Antonio chuckled nervously. "Haha, yeah rollercoasters..."

"Let's start off easy." Mike pointed at a smaller rollercoaster.

They rode the small rollercoaster, which unexpectedly packed quite the punch. Antonio was screaming his head off and Kevin was holding on for his dear life.

Lauren was also terrified. She didn't scream, but shut her eyes and dug her nails into Jayden's forearm.

Jayden was surprised to see his twin afraid, but found it funny. This was her first time at an amusement park as well.

The only ones who didn't fear the little rollercoaster was Jayden, Mia, and Mike.

Emily was scared at the beginning and held onto Mike tightly. Mike wanted to hold her, but wasn't really sure if it would be right.

She underestimated the rush of the rollercoaster but eventually began to enjoy it.

"Let's split up!" Antonio suggested. He didn't want to ride the crazy rides and have everyone notice his fear. He grabbed Mia's hand and speeded away from the group.

"Come with me?" Mike asked Emily.

Emily smiled and followed him.

"Wow. Both of you are left out." Lauren rubbed it in as Jayden and Kevin watched the couples leave.

"We only rode one ride all together..." Jayden scratched his head.

    "Jayden feels nauseous, we should find somewhere to sit." Lauren told Kevin and he nodded.
