7 - Goosebumps / Loveless

"I don't even have to do much to you red ranger. You're already done for!" Amarex became a clone of Mia, who looked and sounded just like her.

The duplicate of Mia threw 3 throwing stars at Jayden.

Jayden deflected one of them. However one of the stars hit his left thigh while the other one on the right side of his lower waist.

Jayden let out a grunt of pain and fell to his knees.

"You're in no shape to fight, and your condition will only get worse and worse." Amarex laughed at the red ranger.

"Back off!" Antonio went after the Nighlok.

The Nighlok tried to transform into someone but she couldn't.

"Huh? What's this!" Amarex attempted at changing her form but it didn't work on Antonio.

Antonio attacked the Nighlok with his barracuda blade, slashing her five times.

"Curse you!" she screamed and ran towards the shed she claimed Mike was in.

Antonio and Kevin chased her, following her into the shed. Inside, they saw that Mike was tied up and unconscious.

The blue ranger shot Amarex with his hydro bow, only to realize that he had shot his father.

Kevin was shocked at the sight of him hitting his own father and making him bleed. He stood still as he took in the traumatic sight.

The gold ranger knew it was up to him to attack Amarex. He attacked Amarex head on, dealing multiple critical hits on her.

Amarex dried out.

This was bad for Amarex since Master Xandred had banished her. If she went back to soak in the river and got caught, she'd get killed.

But right now, she had no choice. She decided to retreat to the other world.

Mike and Emily were bandaged and unconscious.

Mike had terrible rope rashes and a few wounds. Emily had a large and terrible wound across her back.

The rangers had taken the liberty of putting them both to lay down together on Mike's bed.

They knew they would both be excited to see each other when they woke up.

Mia sat in the living room, trying to wrap her shoulder wound. She was shirtless, wearing a black bra with the strap on her injured side off of her shoulder.

    The rangers had gotten used to seeing each other not fully clothed since they lived together and often helped each other with their injuries.

She was doing an awfully sloppy job and getting frustrated.

"Let me help you." Jayden offered.

"Have you been taken care of?" Mia asked if Jayden's wounds have been bandaged.

"Yes, Antonio helped me." Jayden replied. "I'll assist you."

"Mm." Mia nodded her head reluctantly.

Jayden unraveled the bandage that she had poorly wrapped around her injury. Her wound and shoulder were revealed. The wound was from her shoulder to the center of her chest.

Jayden gathered Mia's long, dark hair and swept it to her other shoulder.

Mia sat up rigidly as she was quite uneasy about the closeness.

Mia lifted her arm up and Jayden started to re-wrap the bandage, starting from around her arm. His arms moved in, out, across and over.

They both began to feel more and more comfortable as Mia closed her eyes and Jayden got lost in his craft.

"I'm sorry about earlier." Jayden referred to the kiss. "I wasn't myself."

"It's fine." Mia reassured him. She couldn't let it bother her forever.

There was undeniable intimacy between them.

Jayden noticed that Mia's skin was cold without clothing. She had goosebumps up her arms.

But Jayden was close and Mia could feel his warmth surround her comfortably even though he wasn't touching her. She also felt his breath as he exhaled over her.

He then started to wrap the bandage over her chest, circling around her body.

"I'm done." Jayden finished up the bandage. It covered her upper bicep, shoulder, and wrapped around her upper body.

"Thank you." Mia smiled at him.

Kevin and Antonio entered the living room.

"I figured out that Nighlok's power!" Kevin seemed excited. "She wasn't just turning herself into any clone. She became a clone of the person we love the most!"

Mia was a little surprised at what Kevin said. If what he said held true, Jayden loved her more than anyone.

"Wait," Jayden thought for a second. "The Nighlok couldn't make a clone for Antonio."

"Do you not love anyone, Antonio?"
