"Lauren, are you sure about this? What if you get stuck or killed?" Kevin asked.

He was afraid for Lauren and her crazy plan, as she was the one at risk.

"It'll work." Lauren concentrated on her symbol power.

All of the rangers stood by the crack Splitface exited to the other world through. They watched Lauren focus.

"We should probably try a different way!" Antonio tried to convince Lauren. Kevin nodded along.

"Aren't you following the black ranger?" She reminded them.

"Let her concentrate." Mike told the others. He was ready to fight and determined to save Emily.

Lauren recalled how Mia was taken to the other world but never turned into a nighlok. Mia was the only person to leave the other world and remain human.

Lauren assumed that it was Mia's symbol power that kept her human. If this was true, she should have no trouble staying alive on the other side.

Lauren rose her samuraizer and painted the same symbol Antonio marked Splitface with. This would activate the mark on Splitface and force a connection to him.

When she activated the symbol, the crack glowed red and a portal to the other world opened up. Since Splitface was in the other world, their forced connection opened up a portal.

"If you see this portal closing, use your symbol power to stall it."

Without hesitation, Lauren stepped in as she painted another symbol. This one would lure the nighlok closer and closer to her.

"What? What is this!" Splitface yelled as he propelled out of Master Xandred's ship and towards the portal.

When Splitface spotted the black ranger, he was shocked. The black ranger hadn't been around for a long period of time.

As Splitface zipped through the portal and into the real world, Lauren turned to follow immediately after him.

However suddenly, an arrow hit her shoulder, causing a burning sensation to course throughout the inflicted area.

Lauren tried to keep her screams to a minimum as she yanked the arrow out before the whatever it was laced with could spread even more.

"I'm impressed." The nighlok came in between her and the portal. "This world should be weakening you. And that poison should have you knocked out. Yet you're still standing."

Lauren grabbed her night chains and began to swing them through the pain making its way through her blood stream.

"You're very powerful." The nighlok praised her. "Let's play a game. If you can jab me once with that blade on your chain thing, I won't kill you. How about th-"

"Can I change your condition?" Lauren cut him off.

"I'm all ears."

"If I can jab you once, you will not tell anyone of my existence or of our fight."

"Done! You could've asked me to allow you through this portal, but that's not my circus."

Lauren knew she could've asked to be let y'all past, but she was confident that no matter what, she would end up through the portal.

As of now, she wanted to focus on keeping her existence a secret.

The nighlok charged at her.
