"Lauren." Kevin approached her as she was going through runs with a wooden kusarigama.

"Lauren?" Kevin couldn't seem to get her attention. "I wanted to apologize."

"..." Lauren continued her runs.

"I said things I never should've." Kevin lowered his head. "I want you to know I respect you as the black ranger and I understand you were trying to do what you thought was best..."

"..."

"But I didn't want to gamble with Terry's life." Kevin replied. "Even though his situation was unpredictable..."

"..." She continued her training.

"Lauren..." Kevin tried to talk to her.

"..."

"Could you at least tell me what you're thinking?" Kevin pleaded.

"If we had a method, why didn't we carry it out? What other option was there?" Lauren asked Kevin, finally facing him.

"Well, that was an option. But we could've found a better one. One with less risk." Kevin tried to persuade her. "An option that guaranteed us Terry's life."

"But we just lost our opportunity to do anything altogether." Lauren added. "The situation is out of control."

"You know, this might be crazy.. but I think this kind of relates to the situation with how we're going to defeat Xandred." Kevin brought it up, gauging Lauren's reaction.

"..."

"Should we go with the best option we know, or take a chance on finding a different way?" Kevin connected the dots. "Risk Terry, or in that case risk you... and see what happens."

"The Spirit Sealing Symbol is bound to work. The nighlok were so afraid of it, they got rid of the Kuro Clan. It's a definite way to save the world." Lauren defended it.

Kevin understood where she was coming from. In fact, the symbol Jayden's father did, he hurt Xandred terribly.

But if the Spirit Sealing Symbol was never done before, how could they know for certain it would work?

Everyone was just operating on the pretense that it would save the world, a guaranteed victory. Wasn't it a theory?

Natually, no one wanted to acknowledge an inkling of uncertainty.

Just making these connections, Kevin realized how important it was to support Antonio in his endeavors.

Not only was it about saving Lauren, but for the rangers to not have only one trick up their sleeve.

"Hi, my name is Antonio. I never introduced myself before, but I'm the gold ranger." Antonio smiled with a hint of nervousness.

"I've heard of the gold ranger, and I was quite surprised. You must be so talented." Hana smiled in return.

She was sitting on her bed, bracing against two pillows. A handy lap desk was over her legs with a lukewarm cup of green tea.

"Ah, well.." Antonio scratched his head bashfully.

"Take a seat." Hana referred to the chair by her bed. "What brings you?"

"I wanted to ask you something, but I was not sure if it was okay." Antonio shied away.

"You can ask me, I won't be offended." Hana assured him, able to tell he was worried. "What is it about?"
