Ji had instilled many values within the rangers. Among them, he stressed teamwork and self-discipline the most.

"There are too many nighlok attacks. We're losing this war." Ji frowned. "I believe you all are powerful enough to take on solo, duo, and trio missions."

Nighloks attacks were spreading out and happening in multiple locations at the same time. The rangers couldn't be everywhere at once.

This meant that the rangers couldn't fight all together all of the time.

It was hard for Ji to face the rangers as he was going back on his own words of teamwork and togetherness.

All of the rangers shared worried glances.

Jayden had the most experience battling nighlok alone since he was on his own in the beginning.

The others were uncomfortable fighting without the entire squad but had to do whatever they could for the greater good.

"Additionally, I will move out of the Shiba House temporarily." Ji shocked the rangers.

"What? Why?" Mike spoke up without hesitation.

"I am needed elsewhere. There is a ritual that is carried out to help regulate the water of the Sansu River. I will be at the temple performing this ritual with the monks." Ji explained.

The rangers were saddened by the news. Ji had become a parental figure to them after spending a lot of time under his care and guidance.

"Now, I understand that you are all young adults before you are samurai. So I am setting rules that you must follow. Understand?" Ji handed all of the rangers a paper copy of the rules.

"This is quite the list." Jayden commented on how long it was.

"This is a very crucial time. You all must get along the best you can and look after one another. Try to prevent fighting amongst yourselves." Ji advised.

"These are a lot." Mia agreed, peering over Jayden's shoulder.

"If you follow them, it would be as if I haven't left. That, and your teamwork and discipline should improve greatly." Ji prepared to leave.

Mike raised his eyebrow. "Damn Mentor, you went all out."

Ji shook his head.

"Anyway. I'll be off now. There is no time to waste. Please look after each other. Jayden, please share the wisdom I taught you with them when needed. Call me when there's an emergency."

They had all waved their mentor goodbye as he took off with his motorcycle.
