46 - Eucalyptus / Singled Out

"Achoo!" Antonio's sneezes kept him from falling asleep. He laid for a long time into the night and started to wonder if he was getting sick.

He considered getting up and drinking some warm water, but his head began to pound.

As he laid there sniffling and sneezing, his door cracked open. He couldn't make out who it was due to the darkness.

Antonio was about to turn on his lamp, but ended up withdrawing his hand from the switch. The light would hurt his eyes and prevent him from falling asleep.

The person patted Antonio's shoulder, handing him a glass of water.

"You can't get sick now." She whispered, sitting on the edge of his bed and handing him a medicine pill. "There's no time for it."

Antonio listened to the soft voice, assuming it was Mia's. His eyelids felt heavy as he downed the pill with water.

"I'm going to go." She whispered, about to get up and leave.

"Wait." Antonio caught her wrist, pulling her towards him. He wrapped his drowsy arms around her, his head resting under her chin.

He wished she wouldn't leave.

She sat still in his arms, unsure of what else to do. She wanted to get up, but felt obligated to stay and comfort him.

As minutes past, she kept looking at the door in defeat, hoping to get through it at some point tonight.

On the positive side, he was warm. She didn't often feel this type of warmth and began to love the feeling.

His hands hung off her waist and tugged at her black sweater. He was like a young child.

She curiously rose her hand, reluctantly resting it on Antonio's head. Her fingers ran through his eucalyptus scented hair.

As more time passed, she began to feel his weight become heavier on her. Her body was tired, but she allowed him to continue resting on her.

Only after confirming that he was asleep through his soft snores, she reluctantly laid him down gently and tucked him in comfortably.

"Mooger alert!" Jayden called out to all of the rangers.

He turned off the blaring alarm before it could wake up Lauren. Jayden's hope was that Lauren would sleep through the attack and not end up following them.

When the rangers arrived at the location, a new nighlok stood by himself. She had a red and orange look with flaming fists.

"I'm only interested in fighting the green ranger." The nighlok, Ignis, declared.

"What?" Mike didn't know why he of all the rangers would be singled out.

A bunch of moogers stormed towards all of the rangers except the green ranger. This allowed Ignis to confront Mike.

Throughout their fight, Mike was flighty and panicky. Ignis had come close to him with many fiery punches.

Mike was afraid as he faced such a powerful foe all alone.

He ended up receiving one of the fiery blows to his left shoulder, causing him to demorph and cry out from the pain.

Emily desperately tried to cut through the wall of moogers separating her from Mike's battle, but couldn't.

Just as the nighlok was about to deliver the next flaming fist to Mike's head, Kevin jumped in with his hydro bow.

The water from his bow not only put out Ignis' flaming fists, but caused her to begin drying out.

The water from the bow was effective as Kevin's symbol power purified it.

She tried to escape through a crack, but Kevin didn't allow the nighlok to get past him and his hydro bow.

Ultimately, Ignis ended up cracking and bursting into dust.
