"Oba," Mia knew better than to ask her aunt Hana how she was doing. She would lie, but the truth was she always felt the same; sick. "What are you listening to?"

"Jazz, as always." Hana welcomed Mia into the room.

"Mia," Hana observed her niece as she came and sat on her bed, the dreary look in her eyes. "You look tired."

Mia didn't know how to reply. "I didn't sleep well last night."

"It must be a lot." Hana was aware of the situation, Mayumi being there and Terry not.

"Oba, I don't know what to do." Mia admitted. "At this point, I think I'm just tired."

"What have the rangers told you?" Hana wondered if Mia already spoke with them, understanding the special bond between them.

"I guess I haven't spoken to them." Mia replied, realizing something was holding her back.

"I understand." Hana put her hand on Mia's shoulder, seeing at how sad Mia seemed. "Can I ask why?"

"I don't know.. they always come to me for a talk.. but I don't think I could really do that with them." Mia admitted.

"Mia, you're so caring. You have to learn how to prioritize yourself." Hana motioned for a hug.

"I know." Mia's voice trembled against Hana's shoulder.

"Don't make me worry about you." Hana patted Mia's back.

They remained there for a moment.

"I'm planning to go Japan." Mia pulled back and wiped her face.

"I think that's an amazing idea." Hana encouraged Mia. "You don't have to tell anyone where you're going. Keep your peace."

"Mom! Dad!" Kevin gave his mother a big hug, his father joining in.

"What brings you?" His mother asked, not expecting to open her front door to her son.

"I have some time off." Kevin announced. "I thought I'd spend some time here."

"That's great! I'll take some time off from work!" His mother jumped for joy.

"Swimming season is just about comin' to an end." Kevin's father, the swimming coach, welcomed Kevin inside the house with a nudge. "You're welcome to spectate!"

Kevin felt happy to see them, though he realized getting his mind off of samurai business was tough.

Now he was thinking of ways to save Terry and Lauren.

A fresh wood scent carried throughout the renovated Shiba House, with a lingering hint of fresh paint.

The most important areas, such as the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms, were the most developed.

It was new but felt familiar.

"Welcome home." Ji warmly greeted the red and black ranger.
