Summer Passed

This year it feels more miserable than the last
It's as if my skin becomes glue to bed sheets
It's exhausting, even trying to move
And yet it's still hot breath dragging on my arms

It's a miserable living, but I know there is more to life
Than hoping for a cool breeze outside your window, begging for relief
I know there is more to the way the heat just won't stop embracing me
But it is beyond that I can grasp right now

I cannot think of another year of what to do
And yet, I may have said the very same before
The fall will come once more
And even if the heat may depart

My patience, will not
