Once Smitten,Twice Shy

With eyes most consumed

By a beauty twice blessed

And heart full of fury

Lies a gnash of teeth in a heated flurry

I tread carefully in a field of dreams I carefully planted

But found them wilted as I turned my back

It's a fool's thought to think my love alone will bring peace alone

An idiocy to believe in the light of the brightest light shone
