Growing Realities

The fear of arrogance has been superseded by my desire to be realistic in the world

I am intelligent

I am passionate

I deserve more

I deserve to be treated better

I deserve to have my passions valued

I shouldn't suffocate in dry conversations

I don't have to care about problems that are not my own

I am losing reason to be so considerate

Why do I have to be polite if you bore me?

Why should I  continue to entertain your childish delusions?

Is it fair that I drown in misery to see you benefit from my presence?

Of course not

And so I realize that as I deserve more, I must give more in return

But only for the deserving, those that be mindful that the value I carry knows no limits

I carry no inhibitions

I carry myself in high regard

And if you cannot stand by my side, you can try

Because what bigger fool would I be you a chance deny?
