"Give me your eyes, for I cannot see far enough"

And I gave you my eyes, and lost sight of what was real

"Give me your hands, for I cannot feel your touch as I do"

And I gave you my hands, and began to lose my grasp on the world

"Give my your heart, for I cannot love as brightly as you do"

And I gave you my heart, and began to lose my love for the world

"Give me your lungs, as I can no longer breathe"

And I gave you my lungs, and began to suffocate

"Give me more, you have not given me enough"

And so I gave you my being, and began to wither

"Give me more, give me more, give me more"

But I could no longer give what I did not have

Nothing more, nothing less
