What makes a good man?

Is it the number of doors he's opened? Or all the tears he didn't cry?

Maybe all the fights he won, Or all the emotions he never discussed?

Is it all the sports he played? Or all the beatings he took?

Maybe it was ll the shoves in the hall he felt, or all the shame of failure he endured

Is it the suit and tie to hide the bumps and bruises?Maybe all the different beer bottles he uses

Is it the roar of his voice at his wife? Between drunken stupors and his frustration with life?

Is is the nights debating his worth when he lost his job? The screams of his children crying out of fear?

Is it the words of love his father never told him?

Is it the women he cat called and whistled at? Or maybe the ones he cursed out when they said no

What makes a good man?

Is it this?
