Watch Me Bloom

I'm ready to bloom, to blossom

You should stop by, it's pretty awesome

I've been waiting so long, so patient with my petals

Yet I seem to be restricted, held in place my metal

I want to show you what beauty I've been given, what designs interlace my veins

Waiting so long has begun to inflict personal pain

If I bloom too early, no one will see

Bloom too late and I'd wilt soon after such

Maybe all I'm asking for is a hint of touch

To create a grand display and colorful confetti

But I'm waiting for is for you to be ready

Of course, I would bloom now

Of course I can relish in my grandeur

Yet to share it with you, would add to the allure

I can bloom on my own, be happy and content

But to see your eyes and share you r thoughts would my joy cement

And if the day never comes where you'll see me grow

You'll miss out on more than you'll ever know

But I will bloom all the same

And you'll soon my know my bloom by name

Be it my name or one I'm given

Simply try to grow your own way and all is forgiven
