Weary

What is the state between tired and sleep

That makes me drown in an ocean so deep

Of a world I continue to shuffle my body

Even if the body that drives me is shoddy

Please give me the energy I saved in you

Dear words, every ounce of power poured

Grant me graciously given grandeur

Forgive my foolish floundering in forgetfulness

Create careful consideration consciously and clearly

Words, please help me when I need you most

Because I am the vessel you call host

Without me, you cannot escape to pages

Without me, your whole cannot in people incite rages

But with my help, you find purpose and power

There would be to reason to cower

So please help me, as I helped you

Together, one and one makes more than two
