Where does energy come from?
Is it recycled or reused when we don't use it?
Is it in those cups of hot berry juice you tote around?
Or the sweat on you after a 5am run?
All I know is, I don't have it
I've tried to chase it in dreams
In naps
In meditation
But it runs faster than I can
"I'll let it come to me" I say
But it only alludes me further
So tell me, what is energy?
If not found in sleep or hot Styrofoam cups
There has to be something to chase, right?
