"You look horrible" Peter greeted
I couldn't sleep last night so I stayed up and did nothing then stare at my white walls.

"I know" I sighed
"Sooo... what's going on between you and Ashley?" Peter asked, I just eyed him because I know that he already knows something but acts like he doesn't.

"Nothing. Why?" 
"Oh I thought there might be something going on between you two"
"Well you were thinking wrong" I said starting to get annoyed by his presence.
"Hey Theo" Ashley greeted as she side hugged me,
"Uh hey?"
"Are you going to walk me to my class?" Ashley  asked looking up to me. I glanced at Peter who was clearly amused by this.

"Uh uhm yeah" I said after I cleared my throat
"Bye Peter" She said before dragging me along.

"So uhm... do you have any plans today?" Ashley asked as we now stood in front of her class, we still had a few minutes left.
"Actually yes-"
I noticed how her face fell and I instantly felt bad
"B-but tomorrow we could hang out"
"If you want" I quickly added
"Yes, of course so tomorrow then"
I nodded
"Perfect, see you later then" she said smiling at me.

I almost walked away before she suddenly stopped me to give me a chaste kiss on my cheek, I felt the heat in my cheeks after she did so. Ashley smiled sheepishly at me and entered her class.

"There's nothing going on hm?" Peter said as he walked past me
"Shut up"

Imani
I was having some lunch with the girls after school in the mall. We all were pretty much just were on our phones but Ashley kept ranting about her date with Theo.

"And then we danced- did you know that he can dance?! Well he can. And oh god he smelled so good! Not like a pool of cologne or a bunch of deodorant, he smelled like fresh laundry with only a hint of cologne" Ashley said
"So Are you guys a thing now?" Mei asked
Ashley blushed a little before answering
"Uhm I'm not really sure but I think so"
"About time" Brianna mumbled
"Yes I agree and tomorrow I will invite him over so we can y'know... chill" she said smiling shyly
"That's cool" I said genuinely happy for her.

"Shit it's already 6pm" I said surprised
"I have to go now guys" I said quickly and grabbed my things and waved them bye.

I was supposed to pick my dads car up from the mechanic at 7pm but it's almost 8pm the bus drivers nowadays think they can arrive whenever they want.

As I entered the store with an attached garage, there was nobody there so I ringed the bell on the front desk.
I really didn't want to believe it but I was slightly hoping I could see Theo again.

"Good evening how can I help... you" a familiar voice asked, I looked up from my phone to find a surprised Theo looking at me
"Oh hey Theo" I said smiling at him
"Hey Imani, I guess you're here to pick up your dads car up?"
"Yup that's right"
"Alright. Follow me please"

I followed Theo outside the store where a bunch of cars were standing. I couldn't help admire Theo's back -I mean he is muscular and was wearing a black tank top and a blue dungarees every mechanic here wears, but he literally looked like a model in them.

"Oh and here are the keys" he said holding them towards me
"Thanks" I said.

Now we were just awkwardly standing there
"Uhm bye then" I said as I unlocked the car and got inside
"Bye, and drive safe" he said smiling before going back inside.

I couldn't really concentrate on my way back home.
My thoughts kept drifting to Theo and Ashley, and these thoughts didn't really give me a good feeling.
I'm not jealous of Ashley or anything I'm just starting to doubt her relationship with Theo-
I mean they don't really fit together but whatever, that's none of my business.
