"Uhm excuse me?! When the fuck were you gonna tell me about your new whip?!" Ezra asked as we stood in front of my new baby.

I just shrugged "I don't wanna draw too much attention on myself yknow?"

"Attention my ass. Get your car keys, you'll drive us"
I rolled my eyes at his command but did so nevertheless,

I unlocked the car and we both got inside.

"So what was this social gathering again?" Ezra asked while scrolling on his phone

"A study group, bunch of kids from our school meeting to study together" I explain briefly

"And why are you going? It's not like you're in need of any studying, you're such a smartass yet I've caught you doing the most dumbest shit" Ezra said mumbling the last part

"I heard you Ezra" I said giving him a side eye

"And why are you going?" I shot back

"Because you're going" he said simply

"Aww how sweet" I said jokingly "what about Mateo, I haven't seen him in a while" I question

"He's not coming, he got a private tutor or sum like that"

Study group my ass. Yes we were at the library and yes a few were actually studying but it started to turn more into a get together than 'study together'. We went from going over the subjects of last year to playing truth or dare in a fucking library. How old are we?! Ten?!

I didn't care what we were doing, as long as I stayed by Imani I was completely fine. Especially because I know that, that Miguel guy is just waiting for me to leave her out of sight. I know that look in his eyes, it's almost the same look Peter would have in his eyes when finding his next victim.

The bottle landed on a random guy in the circle who chose truth,
"Is it true that you fucked Mrs Jones for an A in Algebra?" a random girl asks while the crowd started to get wild.
The guy said no but the blush on his face told us otherwise, yikes.

This time the bottle landed on a girl who also choose truth "Is it true that hooked up with Peter while he was still together with Selena?"

"Ew no!" She responded quickly,

"Ew indeed" Imani whispered only for me to hear.

The game went on for a while and someone was generous enough to order pizza but I didn't take a slice because Ezra and I made sure to eat before coming here. I was mindlessly playing with Imanis hair as her head was using my shoulder for support.

It wasn't until the bottle landed on Miguel, that's when my brain went full on alert. He chose dare,

"I dare you to make out with me for a minute" The girl with short brown hair said.

Miguel started chuckling as they got up from their seated positions on the floor and started making out in front of the whole crowd. The others were quietly cheering them on as we got already a few warnings of being too loud, not that any of them would care though.

"You wanna leave?" I ask pushing a few strands of her braided hair from her face

"I'm actually having a sleepover at Bri's tonight" she said looking up at me

"K, I'm probably gonna chill with Ezra. Text me when you're leaving" I said giving her a quick peck on the lips
"Alright. But no strip clubs!" She said sternly

"What a waste of time" Ezra said as I stopped at a red light,

"True" I responded and it was quiet for a while, Ezra's playlist playing quietly in the background

"So you're leaving for real after we graduate?" Ezra asks after a while of silence

"Yeah I guess" I say shrugging, following the gps as the lights switched to green

"Damn" he said looking straight ahead "so this are our last months together"

"Noo, I'll be back during holidays. I'm not dying" I said getting a little irritated

"Will commin with you?" Ezra asked ignoring my comment

"That's not certain yet, I mean he openly admitted he would like to but that's gonna be tricky, with all the legal stuff y'know" I explain briefly and Ezra nods understanding.

"Time flies when you're having fun I guess" Ezra said sighing loudly and I laugh

"Why are you so emotional all of a sudden?" I question him

"I'm not being emotional" Ezra said quickly

"And where are you going after we graduate?" I ask since he hasn't told me

"Imma go pro" he states proudly

"That's cool" I say "So when you're all famous n' shit I can flex that I went to high school with you" I said chuckling

"Don't worry I'll send you free tickets to all my games" Ezra said laughing with me.

"How's Imani handling this?" He asks after we calmed down

"Okay, I think. At first she was against the idea of me leaving but now... she still doesn't want me to leave but she understands now"

"And who knows, maybe this time apart could be good for you two. Cuz no shit but you're like obsessed with each other" Ezra adds

"Me? Obsessed with her? Uhm yes?" I say half joking

"Yeah it shows" Ezra mumbles but I heard him

"You would understand if you had a girlfriend but you would rather play games than commit to one girl" I shot back

"Ouch, no need to be so harsh" Ezra says putting a hand over his chest "I'm sorry I don't feel like having a serious relationship right now"

"Yeah and maybe that's the problem" I say shrugging

"Or maybe I just haven't found the right girl yet" He said in a 'duh' tone

"Anyway, what's the next move?" I ask

"Fifa at my place?" Ezra offers
"Fifa at your place." I said agreeing.
