Life felt weird. Both my parents won't be home for another two weeks, I don't know exactly what for but I know it's because of work. So I had the whole house for myself and I was bored.

I quickly packed my lunch and made my way to school.

"He said that he's sorry but it's like he doesn't even mean it" Brianna said slamming her locker shut
"Ain't that how all the guys are?" Mei said
"Not all of them" Ashley said joining us
"So are you going to forgive him?" I asked causing Ashley to snort

"Of course she is, it would be stupid to break up because of such a silly thing"
"I don't remember talking about them breaking up" I conquered
"Guys! It doesn't matter obviously I'm not going to break up with Elijah, and yes I will forgive him" Brianna stated

"Anyways. Imani do you know where I could find Theo?"
"Uhm uh he should be by his locker or Ezras locker, why?" I asked caught off guard
"Oh nothing important, just something I would like to give him" she said and with that she made her way towards his locker

"Gosh sometimes she just gives me the ick" I said out loud before realising Bri and Mei were still there
"So! What are the plans for this weekend? My parents won't be home for another 2 weeks" I said clapping my hand loudly

"Sorry boo but I'm completely booked for this weekend, I gotta babysit my cousins" Mei said
"Damn that sucks"
"Uhh I can't either, Elijahs parents invited me to go camping this weekend"
"Oh okay, well we will just see each other at school then"

I quickly made my way towards Theo's locker before any of them could say anything.

Surprisingly the only person at his locker was Ezra
"Hey" I greeted, I don't talk that often with Ezra so any encounter without Theo present felt kind of awkward
"Yo"
"Uhm have you seen Theo?" I asked
"Yup he went with that girl Hayley to the photography club" he said pointing towards the direction, I didn't even bother correcting Ashley's name

"Great, thanks Ezra"

I had to be quick if I wanted to catch Theo before class started.
The door to the photography room wasn't closed and I immediately heard Ashley's voice.

"I won, first place" Ashley said,
I know I know this wrong and I shouldn't be spying on my boyfriend and his ex girlfriend but I can't help it

"Wow Ashley, that's amazing"
"But only thanks to you, if it weren't for you I probably would've had no chance"
"Don't say that Ashley, I've seen your work - it's really good"
"I know you're saying that just to be nice"
Oh Cmon Ashley don't be such a pick me

"No I mean it, really"
"But uhh they're holding an exhibition this Friday and I would like for you to come"
"Uhh"
"To see final product of course! After it's you I used for my project. The other will be there too"
"I usually work on Fridays but I'll see what I can do"

Realising their conversation was coming to an end I acted as if I was about to enter the door
"Oh HheYy! I was looking for you"
"I'll see you in class" Ashley said smiling at me,
such a two face

"Well here I am" Theo said breaking me out of my thoughts
"Right yeah, I just wanted to ask if you had plans for this weekend?"
Please say no please say please say no

"I'm supposed to be working this weekend but we can do something afterwards?"
I let out a sigh
"O-or I can take a day off?"
"What? No no! It's okay really! It's just everybody got a life but me" I said laughing awkwardly
"But we will see each other at Ashley's exhibition, I can pick you up if you want"
"She didn't invite me"
"What?"
I rolled my eyes at Ashley's childish behaviour
"She didn't invite me, so I'm not going"
"I heard you, but why wouldn't she invite her best friend?"
I had to laugh at that
"Theo honey, there's one thing you should know about friendships between girls. We can be friends and still hate each other"
"That's messed up"
"I know, but it hasn't been always like that. Not until we-"
"We?" Theo urged on
"Nevermind"

I don't want Theo to think that is being together is the reason me and Ashley don't get along - which his kind of true, but still. I don't want him to worry.

I went on my tiptoes to give him a quick kiss on the lips
"I'll see you at lunch" I said before rushing off.

"Guysss this is Georgia" Ashley greeted us as she appeared with another girl aka the new girl at our table
"Hey" we all greeted in union,
"So you're the new girl huh" Brianna said starting a conversation
"Yup, we just moved here from Texas"
"Yeah Georgias dad owns a business and was looking to expand here" Ashley added
"That's cool" Mei said
"How do you like it so far?" I asked Georgia
"It's amazing, everyone is so nice and the weather here is way better than in Texas"
I was about to take a bite of peanut butter jelly sandwich when I got interrupted by Georgia

"Are you really eating that? Do you know how much calories peanut butter itself has?" She asked laughing
"It's literally just a sandwich" Brianna said quite harsh
"Yeah... just a sandwich" I said faking my chuckle but I already lost my appetite.

All their voices started to fade away and I subtly glanced towards Georgia.
She had a slight tan, blonde almost ash wavy hair, light brown eyes and of course she was Victoria Secret Angel skinny.

"Oh my gosh who is that?" Georgia almost yelled breaking me from my thoughts
"The best thing about this school is that the boys here are so hot like wow" she added
"So who is That guy?" She asked again
"Who?" Mei asked her
"He!" Georgia said
"That's Theodore Hunt aka Theo aka Imani's boyfriend" Mei explained

"Oh, and who's Imani?" She asked
"I am" I said giving her a tight lipped smile
"Oh my gosh if I would've known I would've kept my mouth shut"
"No no I get Theo is indeed very attractive" I said looking towards him.

Everything moved in slow motion, the way he walks, they way he talked with Ezra, the way his hair was perfectly bouncing up and down.
He was just

Perfect

"You're so lucky. Does he have a brother by chance" Georgia joked, but I know that look.

How come you may ask? Well Ashley gives me that same look when she sees me and Theo together.

We don't always eat together but Theo always greets me before he and Ezra disappear, probably getting some food somewhere else.

"Hey" he greeted my friends as they all greeted back
"Hi I'm Georgia, I'm new here"
"Oh cool, I'm Theo, that's Ezra"
"Are you guys joining us?" Georgia asked a little to excited. And I wasn't the only one who noticed because Brianna was giving me that look.

"Nahh we're about to grab something at Wendy's, but our little prince had to make sure his Princess is alright" Ezra said jokingly

"You want something from Wendy's?" Theo asked me
"No thanks, see you later"
"Kay, see ya" he said giving me a peck on the cheek

"Damn I wish Elijah would care for me like that" Brianna joked
