"Hey" I greet Miguel as I opened the door for him to enter,
"Sorry we had to postpone it, but I'm here now" he said walking inside.

"No biggie" I said brushing it off,

"So your test is tomorrow right?" He asked as he removed his jacket and shoes from his body

"Yup" I say popping the 'p'
"Well then let's get started" Miguel said clapping his hands together.

We sat at our kitchen island going through the new vocabulary and grammar from my class. I didn't noticed how quick the time went by until I heard my stomach grumble.

"We can do a short pause if you want" Miguel said chuckling softly

"Yeah sure" I chuckle out of embarrassment
"You hungry too?" I ask as I got up from the stool to look for some snacks
"No I'm good"

While got some snacks out Miguel got up as well to look at the many pictures hanging on our fridge,
"Are that you and Theo?" He asks looking at a picture of me and Theo in first grade

"Yes" I say chuckling
"Cute, you especially" he said looking at the picture and I laugh at his comment

"I think you two would actually get along... if he wasn't so..."
"Jealous?" Miguel said finishing my sentence and I snort

"I know it's probably no secret to you that... he has a hard time... getting to know you" I say thinking about my choice of words

"If this is about the incident in the bathroom tell him you don't have to apologise for him, I can understand him, really" Miguel said and I raised my eyebrow in confusion

"What incident in the bathroom?" I ask serious

"He didn't tell you?"
"Didn't tell me what?!"

Miguel sighs "Look it didn't hurt that bad when he showed me against the wall if-"

"He did what?!" I ask in disbelief
"Oh my gosh Miguel I'm so sorry, I will definitely talk to him about that" I say sincerely

"It's really not that big of a deal" he tries to brush it off

"Yes it is!" I protest "God I can't believe he did that" I said running a hand trough my hair

"You wanna continue?" He asks pointing to my notes on the island
"Yes, yes of course"

After Miguel left just before my parents arrived I decided to call Theo but he wouldn't pick up.
I also texted him but he never read those messages.

"Finally" I groaned as I stretched myself
"I totally forgot about the test today, I hope it's nothing below a c though" Bri said as we got up to leave the classroom

"I studied for hours yesterday, this better be a B or I'm going to shoot myself" I joke

"Uhm I forgot I wanted to see Theo first before our next class, I'll see you later" I said to Brianna walking into the opposite direction looking for Theo.

I found him and Ezra at the vending machine just standing there talking and laughing with each other,

"Theo? Can we talk?" I ask as both their eyes landed on me, they shared a look before Theo said "okay"
"See you later" Ezra said nodding at Theo and giving me a tight lipped smile when he walked past me.

"So?" Theo asks raising an eyebrow

"Are you not going to excuse yourself?" I ask with raised eyebrows
