I was afraid that things would now be awkward between Miguel and me but luckily I was wrong since the following days he acted as if everything was completely normal - which it is of course.

Theo was acting strange. He asked me what I would like to eat and I was like I don't know, pizza maybe. He left me on seen and still even after three hours hasn't responded.

I was mindlessly scrawling through TikTok, waiting for Ashley and the others to arrive since they wanted to hang out with me, and we decided to chill at my place. When suddenly the doorbell rang, Which confused me, since I knew it would take the others while to get here.

Nonetheless I got up from my comfortable position on the couch and opened the door,
"You wanted Pizza, right?" Theo said standing at the door and I couldn't believe my eyes for a moment.

"Oh my- Theo!" I squealed excitedly as I rushed to engulf him in a hug,
"Woah careful, we don't wanna drop the pizza" Theo said chuckling as he hugged me back with one arm

"I missed you" I said my voice muffled as I rested my head on his chest
"I missed you too"

I took a step back to let him in. I immediately noticed the change of style in his clothes, black dress pants, white blouse rolled up at his sleeves and buttons that weren't closed all the way up. He looked hot.

"Why the formal attire?" I ask eyeing him like candy
"Uh jus' trying out something new" he said walking into the living room placing the pizza on the coffee table and plopping down on the couch,
"C'mere" he said patting his thighs.

I walked over and went to sit on his lap feeling shy of a sudden,
"How have you been?" He asks pulling me closer towards him and rests his hand my thigh as the other caressed my back.

"Good" I said tight lipped
"Just good? That's it?" He asks chuckling softly and I nod
"It's not me we should talk about. So tell me, how was it?" I ask genuinely curious about his answer

"Well besides that almost every corner in Paris smells like pee, I've met some cool people. I was spending some good time with my mom and I already found a potential mentor. I'm still torn between the colleges tho" Theo lists playing with the hem of my shorts and my mood instantly drops

"That's great!" I try hiding the pain in my voice by smiling at him but he instantly notices
"I know you're upset about me leaving" he said in a low tone and I avoid looking him in the eyes

"Can we not... talk about it" I ask or rather demand, I don't wanna get reminded of the limited time we still have together
"If that's what you want" he says softly, I get off his lap and reach for a slice of pizza when I heard the front door open. "Dafuck" I mumble to myself

"You expecting anyone?" Theo asks getting up from the couch
"Congrats!" Ashley, Mei and Georgia yelled in union as they entered the living room

"Uhh did I miss something?" Theo asked confused and my eyes went wide when I saw what was written on the cake they brought.
"Oh we weren't expecting any male company" Georgia said

"Guys I told you this was to much!" Brianna whisper shouted

"What the-" I was about to yell but stopped mid sentence when Theo read out loud what was written on the cake
"Congrats on not being pregnant?! What?!" Theo asks turning towards me

"Seriously Bri! You told them?!"
"What? No! They-"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Theo asks the same time Brianna was trying to explain herself

"It's red velvet by the way"
"Ashley! Not now!"
"You thought you're pregnant and didn't plan on telling me?"
"They already knew and there was no denying!"
"Thank god you're not pregnant that would've been soo cliche"

"SHUT UP! All of you!" I shout feeling overwhelmed
"Out! All of you! Out!" I yell at Brianna and the others and thankfully they listened and went out.

I close my eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm down when I felt Theo standing in front of me.
I opened my eyes only to be met by his pained orbs,

"Why?" He asked dropping his arms by his side
"Why what?"
"Are you serious right now? Don't you think I deserve to know if there's a chance of my girlfriend potentially being pregnant?" He asks hurt evident in his tone

"Well I'm not! So there was no reason to stress about that!" I yell

"But you thought you were" he said almost whispering
"And now what huh? What do you want me to do about it?" I voiced rather loud

"I just want you to be honest and trust me" Theo expressed
"You want honesty? Alright let's start then, I almost kissed Miguel and I probably would've kissed him if my parents wouldn't have been there!" I blurt out and Immediately regret what I just said.

Theo's eyes went wide and I expected him to be angry and upset and yell at me but instead his gaze dropped to the floor
"I think I should go" he muttered
"No Theo wait please! I didn't mean to say that I-" I reached for his hand but he quickly pulled it away
"Don't touch me" was all he said before leaving and closing the door behind himself.

I fucked up. I fucked up really bad.

Gosh how can I be so stupid.
