It's been three days. Three days since I had seen Theo.
I know he's avoiding me but damn there's no need for skipping school, I would've kept my distance.

We had a free period and decided to do our homework or more likely tried to do our homework, Georgia was constantly yapping about I don't know what, Ashley was painting her nails, Bri was having an argument with her boyfriend via chat and Mei was the only one actually working.

I was so lost in thought I didn't hear Georgia ask me a question.

"Hm? What?" I ask blinking quickly
"I asked if you guys broke up" Georgia repeated and I chocked on my spit for a second

"Theo and me? No, no he just needs some time for himself right now" I said in between coughs

"Yeah that's what they always say before calling it quits" Georgia said
"Georgia what exactly is your problem?" I ask irritated

"Oh I have no problem" she said smiling sweetly

"Well then why would you say that, do you want me and Theo to break up or what?" I confront her harshly and she snorts

"Honey no, I would never go after someone who's unavailable. I'm just saying because it's not like you guys will stay together after high school no?" She explains,

I feel my blood boiling but I suppress the emotion quickly

"Well I doubt that" I say calmly "He will visit during his holidays" I add

"Aren't you afraid he's going to cheat?" Ashley asks suddenly

"The fuck, no. I trust him" I say crossing my arms
"Yeah Theo doesn't seem like the type of guy to cheat" Ashley adds and for once she said something of value

"I thought you guys wanted to study together, uhm our finals are in less than a month and not a single one of you started studying!" Mei spoke all of a sudden.

I sigh at the thought of us writing our final exams, it still feels like yesterday when we were freshman's and completely overwhelmed. Now we are going to graduate from high school.

"I'm gonna miss this" I say leaning back in my chair

"School? Pff yeah no" Ashley stated

"Not necessarily the classes I'm talking about the memories we made together and all the fun we had despite school being crappy" I explain

"I'm breaking up with him" Brianna said shutting her phone off
"Thank God I never liked Elijah anyway" Mei said and I widen my eyes in shock

"But why?" I ask
"Because I'm starting to realise that we both deserve better. We're always arguing, and I can't be with someone who makes me feel bad about myself"

"Woah that's rough" I say

"You okay?" Georgia asks and Bri nods her head
"It's for the better"

After school I made a quick stop at target just to grab a few things I was running out off.

"Long time no see" I heard a voice say, I turned around finding a smiling Miguel next to me

"Hey" I chuckle lightly.

After that incident at my house we haven't really been talking much and I cancelled any future study sessions we had planned together. So seeing him again felt kind of weird.

"I haven't seen you around lately, everything good?" He asks with an raised eyebrow and I chuckle nervously

"Yeah yeah of course! I've been just busy, studying for the finals yknow..." I explain poorly hoping for this conversation to end as fast as possible
