I couldn't sleep.

I was spooning Imani and tried to force myself to sleep but I just couldn't. I carefully moved to lie on my back, starring up at the ceiling.

I grabbed my phone that was charging on my bedside table and opened google.
Even if Imani said that I should stop worrying I couldn't help it but ask google for help, maybe that's why she asked me if our sex life is boring.
Maybe she was implying on something which she didn't want to tell me directly.

Trying new things she said, so I must bore her, or not?

I came across various things on the internet, from being playful, to using toys, to trying out new positions. And I went with the last option to look further into. At least I wasn't the only one wondering about these things.

"It's nothing. Sorry I woke you up" I said hiding myself under the blanket.

I heard some rustling around me,
"Sex positions you can try out with your partner" Imani reads out loud and immediately removed the blanket from my face to grab my phone from her hand as I felt my face get warm.

"At least you weren't watching some porn" Imani says shrugging
"You weren't supposed to see that" I said placing my phone on my bedside table.

"You can just tell me if you're bored of me. No need to give me these random hints" I said cutting her off

"Bored? Of you? Never." She said straddling my lap
"I didn't meant it like that Theo, really" she said running her hand through my messy hair
"Nobody could ever make love to me the way you do" she said whispering in my ear as I felt myself shudder.

I woke up to the sound of chatter and laughter coming from downstairs, I felt around the bed for Imani only to realise that she had already gotten up. The sun was shining through my curtains and I decided to get up and see where all that noise was coming from, of course after I peed and brushed my teeth.

I went downstairs to see Zoe, Will and Imani happily preparing breakfast in the kitchen,
"Look who decided to join us" Imani joked but I wasn't in the mood for jokes, I wasn't in the mood for anything. I ignored her comment turning the coffee machine on,

"Good morning to you too" Zoe said tight lipped
"Your brother seems to be in a bad mood" I heard Imani whispers to Will and they started giggling quietly.

"Do you want pancakes Theo?" Imani asks
"No" I said filling my cup with coffee, I went to sit next to Will who was already munching on his waffles
"Theoo, have you ev-"
"No." I said cutting Will off before he could even finish his sentence and I immediately excused myself
"Sorry, you were saying?"

"Have you, have you ever had a dream about giants?" He asks and I shook my head

"Oh uhm by the way Will and I are going to the Zoo and... we will visit your father afterwards" Zoe said taking a sip from her tea
"He would like to see you too you know" Zoe said

"Okay" I shrug
"Cmon let's get you ready for the day" Zoe said as she and Will went upstairs.

"How are you feeling?" Imani asks sitting in front of me at our breakfast table in the kitchen,
"Why?" I ask stealing some bacon from her plate
"Uhh because I would like to know duh?"

"What are your plans for today?" I ask changing the subject
"Just chilling"

" 'kay" I say sipping my coffee, I place the cup down in front of me, not even daring to look up at the beautiful women sitting across from me - or I would instantly fold.

"Do you want me to go?" She suddenly asks after a few seconds of silence and my head snaps up
"What? Why?" I ask monotone

"Well you're obviously upset with me, and you're in a bad mood" she says crossing her arms over her chest
"I'm gonna grab my things" she said getting up.

"What about your breakfast" I state pointing at her plate. She halts her movements and rolled her eyes when I referred to her platter of food.
