I've been floating on cloud nine for the past few weeks.

Theo and I decided to not go around and tell everybody we're together, they can speculate as much as they won't - I'm going to keep my mouth shut.

I also haven't really told my parents about it but I believe they already know because I told them about my date with Theo and they said that he's making me act all clumsy,
I didn't admit it but the last time I tried to make pancakes actually burned them daydreaming about Theo - but no one has to know that.

But there is only one person I wanted to talk about this

Ashley

I waited at my locker fixing my lipgloss when I saw her from the mirror inside my locker,

"Ashley? Can we talk?" I asked as she was about to walk past me
"Uh yeah sure"

I checked all the bathroom stalls before deciding to talk with Ashley

"Okay so, it's obvious that it's kind of awkward between us because of well Theo" I started,
she didn't seem angry or pissed of so that's a good sign I guess

"And it's true I haven't been the best friend to and I wanted to apologise for that"
"No it's okay Imani, it's not just your fault. I'm sorry too" she said smiling sympathetically

"So you don't hate me?" I asked playfully
"No" Ashley chuckled
"But there is something more I need to tell you"
"You and Theo are together" she stated bluntly,

What?
Is it that obvious?

"O-oh you already knew that?" I asked blinking
"Yeah and it's okay, he's happy my best friend is happy so why should I be so sour about it" she explained smiling at me
"Ashley you're such an angel" I said whining

I walked towards her to engulf her in hug which she gladly accepted
"I missed you" she said chuckling
"I missed you too"

Feeling happy and refreshed after my talk with Ashley we went to our next class, we still had a long day before us and I was starting to somehow lonely because Theo and I didn't share this class together,

While I was sitting in Spanish class he was sitting in French class for advanced students
My boyfriends a little genius I thought smiling to myself.

I was bored and decided to not continue on this boring task - I preferred it when we would actually talk Spanish to learn it instead of having to memorise some random vocabulary and sentences so I'm texting Theo.

It took him a while to respond and I chuckled when he responded with a question mark when I texted that I missed him

I was about to respond when Mrs Perez walked towards and I quickly shut my phone off and continued my task on the paper.

I giddily got up and rushed outside as soon the class was over I felt so excited I couldn't wait for Ashley but she would catch up soon.

Walking and squeezing myself through the halls I finally found him - he was starring on his phone while talking to Ezra, I felt my heart beat erratically. Just looking at him placed i smile onto my lips.

He suddenly looked up from his phone and smiled when he saw me

"Hey" he greeted, bending down to give me a quick peck on the lips
We both aren't the biggest fans of pda - meaning I would never stuck my tongue down his throat knowing a bunch of student are walking past you

"Hey" I greeted back "Hey Ezra" I added
"Wassup" he asked calmly
"Not much, just happy to finally see my boyfriend" I said smiling brightly as I hooked my arms around Theo's neck, I noticed a faint blush crawling up his cheeks after he placed his hands on my waist

"Not to be rude or anything but if you guys start sucking on each other's lips right now I'm going to throw up" Ezra said
"Ugh whatever, I wanted to see Brianna and Mei real quick before our next class starts soon" I said before placing a quick kiss on a Theo's cheek and searched for girls, I also have to stop at my locker to get rid of unnecessary books in my bag.

The day went by quicker than I anticipated and I soon found myself back at home.

My parents wouldn't be home in the next two weeks because of work meaning I'm gonna be all by myself, it sucked that none of my friends had time chill at my place today since we haven't hung out in while so I asked Theo but he told me couldn't because he had to work after school.

Great.

I was bored tho the bone and ordered some Chinese take out, what? I didn't felt like cooking.

I took a quick bath before my dinner arrived it was already late so I decided to just put on my pyjamas or more likely a cropped lace top with some spandex shorts.

Am I the only one that when I have something nice to eat I must find something nice to watch or else I won't be able to enjoy my food but whatever.

After scrolling through Netflix I found nothing interesting to watch so I tried the functions where Netflix decides a movie for you and the longer I watched the more I noticed that I was watching conjuring
All by myself
Alone
And it's dark outside.

But damn that movie is good - even though I'm scared to death I couldn't stop watching witch I regretted later very very much.

I tried to fall asleep but I kept waking up to some weird noises coming from downstairs
I felt like pooping my pants right now,

This must be my mind playing tricks on me because of that damn movie.

I turned on my lights and looked at the watch on my phone 1:13am

Is it to late to call Theo now? I really don't want to disturb him but I can't take it any longer.

"Hello?" I heard his deep voice rasper when he finally picked up the phone
"Theo"
"I-Imani? Why are you calling me at one in the morning?" He asked sounding confused
"I'm scared" I admitted bluntly
"...Why?"
"Because I watched that stupid horror movie and now my mind is playing tricks on me"
"There's nothing" he yawned "to worry about"
"Can... can I come over to your place?" I asked expecting him to say no
"..."
"Theo?"
"Huh?"
"Can I come over?" I asked again biting my lip slightly
"Okay"
"Alright I'll be on my way" I said quickly before hanging up

I didn't care about changing into warmer clothes I just put on my coat, took my phone and charger, the keys and rushed outside towards my car.

I'm never watching a horror movie by myself again.
