Today was THE day.
THE day I'm going to break up with peter.
I purposely skipped all my classes before lunch to make an bomb ass entrance. I ignored everyone one social media indirectly saying them something going on.

I decided to go all black today cuz I think it's making look like a badass,
my hair is on point, edges on sleek, make up done flawless. I decided I had to look my best when I'm going to dump Peters cheating ass.

As I walked into the school making sure my heavy boots were making loud noises and keeping my head high, I marched directly towards our cafeteria.
Everybody seemed to be awestruck, jealous or confused about my so sudden appearance.

It wasn't hard for me to find Peter, Selena and the rest of their group sitting in the middle of the cafeteria being obnoxiously loud.
With confident strides I walked towards them,
I cleared my throat to gain their attention.
"Hey babe, wassup"
Ignoring Selenas jealous looks and the others I chuckled lightly
"You know what Peter? I'm not even going to act like it is okay what you've done yeah? If you think I'm that stupid and naiv to believe your disgusting lies and your ass cheating on me. Well guess what I'm not!" I stated loud and clear for everybody to hear.

By the way Peter was looking at me i know he just didn't expect that and hearing a few around us gasp and whisper

"Yes Peter, I know you've been screwing Selena behind my back and I'm not even angry about it! But you know why I'm angry? That I was stupid enough to waste my time for you-"
I couldn't stop this overwhelming feeling causing my voice to break, it was just to much for me
"Imani I'm so so sorry but can we not do this in public" Peter pleaded
"Seriously Peter?!"
"Go and cry about it Imani nobody cares" Selena spat

"Nobody cares about what?"

As I heard his voice not only I turned around but everybody else too,
"now here it comes" Peter mumbled under his breath
"Aye wassup Theo" Peter greeted showing us a fake smile
"Why are you crying?" Theo asked completely ignoring Peter
"I'm not" I said quickly wiping my tears away
"Did he hurt you?" He asked referring to Peter
"Yo man it's nothing - really"
"Nothing?!" I repeated
"Your ass cheated on me!"

"And I'm sorry okay?! Don't act like it's only my fault"
Theo's worried expression quickly changed into an angered one by the way his jaw was clenching and unclenching.

"Fuck you Peter!"
"Fuck you Theo!" Peter said pushing Theo away
"I told you not to hurt her!" Theo shouted pushing Peter with so much force his backside collided against the table spilling a few drinks on it. A lot of students started to gather around us

"Or what huh?! You think I didn't notice"
"Notice what?" Theo asked menacingly,  stepping dangerously close towards Peter
"The way you look at her, talk and act around her - I know you have a thing for her!"
"Shut up!"
"You are crushing on her so badly but never grew a pair of some balls to ask her out - not that she would actually say yes, I mean seriously look at you"

Hold on...
"Theo? Is... is that true?" I asked cautiously,
his head hung low and he wasn't talking to any of us
"I fucking hate you Peter" Theo growled under his breath
"Aww are you going to cry now" Peter asked feigning some type of empathy
"Grow yourself some pair of balls you bastard"
"That's why your dad hates you and the whore you call your mom left both of you" he added

Okay I don't really know much about Theo's family but this time Peter went to far.

"What did you say?"
Peter scoffed "You heard me, asshole"

It all went so quick, all of sudden Theo punched Peter right in his face causing him to stumble back - the crowd got bigger and they started cheering and hollering.

Peter quickly composed himself and that's when they really started to fight,
Some students were filming others where cheering them on to keep going while other didn't care and continued to eat their food.
It's as if I'm paralysed
I just stood there watching to boys trying to hurt each other.

I tried to tell them to stop but I couldn't find my voice or the courage to do so.

Like expected Peter played unfair causing Theo to roughly land on his back
'Ouhhh' some people were saying,
Peter quickly got on top of him missing a few times before Theo managed to turn them around, grabbing Peter by the hem of his collar and repeatedly slamming him against the floor.
To our luck some other boys rushed  over and we're able to pull them apart before the teachers could
"The show is over guys there ain't nothing to watch here" one of them shouted,

Peter and Theo were hold in place catching their breaths and spitting out some blood

Theo snatched his restrained arms from their hold before making a run towards the exit.
"Don't ever talk to me again" I spat towards Peter before rushing after Theo.

"Theo!"
"Wait please!"
"Theodore!"
I yelled, he didn't stop though - so I rubbed towards him and grabbed him by the arm
"Theo wait please"
The hallway was empty so there was no need to keep out for nosy students.

He had a bloody nose and a few red bruises on his face, hands and arms.

And he was crying

"I-I'm sorry you had to see me like that"
he said quickly wiping his tears away
"That doesn't matter. Let's get you cleaned up first"

Lunch was over and our classes had already started but Theo and me snuck into the infirmary - good thing the school nurse just started her lunch break.

It just quiet.
Very quiet.
Neither of us talked and the silence was killing me.

As I grabbed some cotton balls and rubbing alcohol Theo grimaced at the sight of the rubbing alcohol
"Your not a big fan of it huh?"
he shook his head
"It's just gonna sting a little"

I started with his hands disinfecting the smaller bruises first and bandaging them afterwards before making my way up to his fore arms. And lastly his face,
standing in between his legs I grabbed some near by napkin to remove the blood around his nose and mouth area.
I placed one hand on his chin to keep him from moving as I removed the little amount of blood from his nose and mouth area.

And there it was again - that cute little blush on his cheeks.

"You know..."
I almost dropped the napkin as I heard his deep voice
"What Peter said about me uhm... having a crush on you... it's- it's true"
Not knowing what else to do I placed the napkin down looking down at Theo's flushed face,
"To be honest I had a freaking crush on you for so unbelievingly long but I was so scared you might reject me that I kept these feelings to myself"
"Theo-"
"You don't have to give me an answer or anything I can understand"
"But-"
"I get it Peter is right, why would you want something from me when-"
"But Theo-"
"Yes I know I just hope that we are still going to be friends and so on-"
"Screw this"
Without any second thoughts I grabbed his face and kissed him.

Never in a million years would could I believe that me and Theo would kiss each other.
It started sweet and slow until Theo grabbed me by my waist pulling me towards him so I was able to straddle him.
It was nothing extrem - just a sweet innocent kiss and his arms around my waist as I was holding onto his neck
