Today was very hectic. Everyone seemed to filled with anxiety and excitement about the college fair today. Many students were spending extra time on getting ready today, it felt like as if they all got dressed to play in a new episode of 'suits' or 'the office'. I on the other hand came in according to Ezra 'boring everyday clothes'.

I could care less about their first impressions of me since I wasn't interested in any of the colleges here.
I purposely lowered my grades so I wouldn't be our schools number one student aka the one with highest grades.

I don't even know who I was competing with but who cares about that anyway-

"You!" A girl with red locks said suddenly

"Me?" I ask confused by her sudden approach

"You're Theodore Hunt right?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest

"Yeah?"

"You see that there?" She asks pointing to a board of with various of names on it and their achievements at our school

"Yes?" I responded not knowing what she wants from me

"Role model student: Theodore Hunt" she reads out loud

What!?

"Be prepared Theodore Hunt! I will end you in your final exams! and claim your spot on that pedestal!" The girl said harshly

"There's no reason for that. You can have it" I said shrugging and she gasps loudly

"First of all! This is not something you just give around! If I want to be student number one I'll have to beat you" she said squinting her eyes at me

"Uhm... okay?"

"You think this if funny huh?" She starts

"No I-"

"Prepare yourself Theodore Hunt I'm coming for you!" She cuts me off hissing at me. She gives me a nasty glare and walks past me,

Trying to forget what just happened I look for Imani and find her and Miguel... talking to an admission rep. I waited for their conversation to finish before walking over to them.

"Hey" I greet them simply as I walk towards them
"Hey" they both greet me

"If you're looking for Ezra I saw him somewhere over there" Miguel said pointing to the other side of the hall

"Well I'm not looking for Ezra, I came to see my girlfriend" I said as I placed my hand around Imanis waist
"He was just trying to be nice" Imani said only for me to hear

"Okay, well we still have a few colleges we wanted to check out so-" Miguel says but I cut him off
"Cool I'll join you guys" I said smiling at him

"Yeah sure" he says and we all went along.

After watching Imani and Miguel talk to various of representatives we decided to make a quick pit stop at the small buffet.

"What are your favourites so far" Miguel asks Imani

"Uhm I think Parson in New York or the one in Ohio, but I'm actually not quite sure what I wanna do after high school" she explains "maybe I'll take a year off first, I still have to think about it" she adds

"What about you?" Miguel asks me just as I was about to take a bite from my sandwich

"Uh Zero"

"Zero? You don't wanna go to college?" He asks again
