Life slowly went back to normal, kind of.
I talked to Will about his feelings - he told me that he feels weird and not even waffles could make him happy again which really worried me.

So I made it my job to spend every second of my free time with Will.

"Will? Are you up?" I asked knocking softly on his door, I carefully opened the door and walked inside.

I opened his curtains to let some sun inside causing Will to stir in his bed

"Time to wake up buddy" I said smiling brightly
"Why" he asked groggily
"Cause it's already ten and time to get up"
"Nooo" he whined
"Yes you have to, Cmon buddy we can get some waffles"

I huffed when I saw Will still laying in bed

"And Imani is coming with us"

This seemed to get his attention as he slowly tilted his head towards me

"Your pretty friend?"
"Yes" I laughed "My pretty girlfriend"

As funny as it sounds but I think Will has a little crush on Imani, he would turn into the nicest and well behaved kid I've ever seen.

"Now go take a shower and get ready"

"Heyy" Imani greeted me as she got into my car, giving me a quick peck on the lips,
We had to stop at Imani's place first to pick her up and then get some breakfast.

"Heyy Will" she smiled greeting him too
"Hey" he waved shyly

I couldn't help but chuckle at his behaviour

"What's so funny" Imani asked
"Oh nothing" I brushed off as I started the car

"Okayy, anyways what are our plans for today"
"First we will get some breakfast and well the rest is up to Will"

"Okay cool, your already know what you want to do?" Imani asked turning towards Will in the back

"I need my waffles first, then we'll decide"
"Alright" Imani chuckled lightly

After placing our orders we sat down and waited for our food to arrive.

"God I can't believe that we are halfway through high school already" Imani stated as she slurped from her milkshake

"True" I said leaning back in the booth
And I still don't know what I wanna do afterwards

"Let me guess, you already got your whole life planned out?" I asked in a joking manner

"Actually yeah I do... and uhm it could be our future plan too" she admitted shyly

"I'm all ears"

"No it's too embarrassing" Imani laughed hiding her face behind her hands

"Hey" I said grabbing both her hands
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about okay?"

"Okay so uhh where do I even start" she mumbled to herself

"Okay so at first my plan was it to right to college after we graduate and study medicine like my parents so that I can slowly build my way up towards becoming a neurosurgeon and then find a boyfriend, get married, create a family and live a happy ever after but... that was before we got together. So I started over again and decided that before I dedicate my whole life towards work and student debt I would actually like to take our first year off and travel around the world together and see we're that brings us - I mean I always wanted to become a doctor but a life like that just seems so hectic and on the other side I always dreamed of living on the land and having my own cute cottage but at the end I don't even know what you want to do after school"
