Am I really about to do this?
Am I really thinking about going to practice? With Peter?

Sighing I rubbed both my hands trough my hair and closed my eyes.

I don't even have time for any of this.
School, my job as a car mechanic and I have to take care of Will too - there is no time for football.

"Aye man I almost thought you ain't comin" Ezra greeted bursting through the door, he was clad in his uniform holding his helmet,
"Yeah I'm not really sure about this" I said massaging my temple
"Yo if it's about Peter-"
"It's not" I cut him off
"Really I don't think can start with football right now" I added
"Damn that sucks" Ezra said crossing arms
"Doesn't mean we can't hang out tho"
I chuckled at this
"Whatever" I shrugged

The thing I like so much about driving is that I clears my mind and gives me an opportunity to clear my thoughts.

In times like these when dad isn't home probably drinking at random places and staying in pubs I'm the who has to make sure that there's always food at home and always pays the rent and electricity - and it's fucking tiring.

Parking my car in our front lawn I hurried inside.
I walked inside and placed my keys on our key holder,
"Hello?" I called, since it's usually never this quiet here,

walking further inside I found Zoe with a cup of coffee in the kitchen
"Hey Uhh where's Will?" I asked her
"Hm? Oh hey Theo, Will is at Mrs Jovitas"
"Okay? You want me to pick him up orrr?"
"No He's going to stay there for a while"
"Why?"
"Your dad could come home any time and I don't want Will to see his father like that"

I was about to leave until Zoe stopped me
"Uh Theo"
"Yeah?"

Walking up to me she grabbed my backpack out of my hands
"How about we spend some time together hm?"
"I feel like as if I failed to be a mother figure to you and I want to make up for it" she added
"Yeah you definitely failed at that" I said chuckling bitterly
"Yes I know but I want to change that even... even if it may be to late"
"You can't change that Zoe, I will never forget what you did to me" I said snatching my backpack out of her hands
"It's your and dads fault my life is a living mess, you ruined everything both of you!"

"... do you even remember what you did to me?" I asked after a while of uncomfortable silence
"I.. I do - but I was in a very bad state back then and and I'm so sorry for that" she said placing her hand on my chest
"Don't fucking touch me!"
"Sorry" she said quickly removing her hand from chest
"You must really hate me" she mumbled to herself
"You fucking disgust me" I spat before storming outside to rush inside my bedroom.

I locked the door and turned on my speakers.
I undressed myself and changed into a pair of grey joggers and white shirt, not caring about any undone homework I fell on bed staring at my white ceiling before falling asleep.

"You haven't even been this happy when Peter asked you out"

"Yeah I know but just tell me why you are behaving like that" she said laughing loudly
"It's no one" I said hiding my face with my pillow

"Because I don't want anyone to know yet"
"But it's because of a guy right?"

"You hesitated it's because of a guy"

"Bri not now please" I groaned into my pillow
"Ohh so I know him okayyy I can work with that"

"Dayum That dick must be good good if he got you acting like that"

Brianna gasped loudly
"Yeah we heard you the last time and I saw that car shaking"

I laughed at Briannas weak comeback
"Anyways it's nothing serious - I mean today was the first time I've ever kissed him"
"And for how long did you know him?"
"Too long" I chuckled lightly
"Imani's finally gonna get some dick" Brianna sing sang
"Keep your dirty mouth shut"
"Goshhh Imani just tell me who he is!"

"I'm not going to tell anyone"

"Okay" I took a deep breath

"Oh well, I always had a feeling that he had a crush on you - guess I was right"
"Uhh okay? I just don't know how to tell Ashley it's still kind of off between us two"
"Girl don't Tell her at all until she finds out herself, not to be rude or anything but you don't have to tell her shit she and Theo weren't even really a thing - he ended it before things got serious"

"Maybe that's the best thing to do"
"Sweety it is"
