INT. KITCHEN — MORNING

KOYAMA changed quickly into a pair of sports shorts and a black sleeveless t-shirt with a turtle neck. The fabric hugged her body nicely, so it didn't look awkwardly loose in her eyes.

Finding her favorite pair of tennis shoes in the yet to be fully unpacked suitcase, KOYAMA also struggled for a minute to find a pair of matching socks.

Grabbing her school bag, and walking out into the living room/dining area was harder for her than she'd ever imagine, but she mustered up the courage to walk to the kitchen, and she was yet again disappointed to see SAKUSA no where in sight.

KOYAMA noticed a neon green sticky note on the door of the freezer.

The brunette read it out loud.

KOYAMA
I had to leave early,
but I left your lunch
on the counter.

KOYAMA
p.s. If you
need anything
let me know.

An arrow at the bottom of the note caught KOYAMA's attention. The brunette turned it over.

KOYAMA
p.s.o.p.s. Sorry though,
please don't ask for help
just for today.

KOYAMA
(Raises an eyebrow)
What a strange man.

Despite having said such a thing, the brunette smiled as she picked up her neatly organized bento.

CUT TO:

INT. ALGEBRA CLASS - MORNING

KOYAMA's mood turned chipper as she noticed that YACHI, YAMAGUCHI, and KENMA were all seated at their table. The underclassmen class didn't have many students, around 26 or 27 in total, because an influx of students enrolled and the teachers felt it best to divide them as much as possible.

KOYAMA
Hitoka-Chan!

YACHI
Tsuru-Chan!

YAMAGUCHI
You're a bit late
today Koyama-San.
Any reason for that?

KOYAMA
(Rubs the back of
her neck awkwardly).
I had a rough morning,
but I'm alright. I made
it before class starts, so
I made good timing, wouldn't
you say so Kenma-San?

KENMA
(Nods).

KOYAMA
(Sits down
beside Kenma).

KENMA
You look like
the undead.

KOYAMA
(Surprised)
When did you get a
look at my face?
(Laughs).

KENMA
(Deadpans).
I paused my game.

KOYAMA
You did?!

KENMA
Only for a second so
don't feel too proud
of it.

KOYAMA
Ah
(Slumps her
shoulders).

KOYAMA
(Pouts).
A little harsh there
Kenma-San, but last night
I couldn't sleep very well.
I don't even remember when
I fell asleep, and to top it
all off, I had a really
weird dream.

YACHI
A weird dream?

YAMAGUCHI
(Curious)
What was it about?

KENMA
(WTF face).

YACHI
(WTF face).

YAMAGUCHI
What? I wanna
know. (Shrugs).

KENMA
What if she doesn't want
to talk about it? You've
just made it awkward by
asking.

YACHI
Exactly.

YACHI
(Embarrassed)
Dang it Tadashi.

KOYAMA
(Laughing).

KOYAMA
I don't think you'll
ever hear it from me since
I'm still processing the
fact that it happened.

YACHI
Oh my gosh,
was it an...
(blushes).
indecent dream?

KOYAMA
(Blushes).
WHAT? Pfft
NO pfft.

KOYAMA
I mean no,
no it wasn't.
Really, I think.

KENMA
(Disgusted)
Take this conversation
somewhere else where my
ears don't have to suffer
through it.

KOYAMA
No, but, seriously,
what does it mean when
you dream of someone
you don't like in
that way?

YAMAGUCHI
Depends on the scenario.

YACHI
(Laughs).
I started liking
Tadashi after I saw
him in a dream.

YAMAGUCHI
(Disbelief)
Seriously?

YACHI
No, sadly,
I'm not kidding.

YAMAGUCHI
Sadly? Are you
sure you even
love me?

YACHI
(Pinches Tadashi's
cheeks).
of course I do!

As YAMAGUCHI and YACHI made eyes at each other, KENMA took notice of KOYAMA's unease. The pudding haired male, whose hair was mostly taking the color of his ebony roots, sighed.

KENMA
In my opinion, Koyama-San,
dreams are just dreams,
but if you feel there's
something else there,
maybe you should consider
sorting out your feelings
for this person you "don't"
like in that way.

KOYAMA's breath staggered, as a familiar feeling blossomed in her heart. She was sure of it now, I have a crush on Sakusa.
