SAKUSA neared KOYAMA's face, with a feeling of nervousness blossoming in the pit of his stomach as he admired the way her eyes took him in. Her lips were inviting, and he wanted nothing more than to kiss her once and for all, but he wouldn't if she pushed him away.
KOYAMA's heart fluttered at his display of nervousness. Unlike the SAKUSA of her dreams, the real SAKUSA was gentle, and patient. In a whisper, SAKUSA asked if he could kiss her, and KOYAMA could only nod as she hyperventilated from sheer excitement and nervousness.
SAKUSA's lips were soft and moved slow against hers. Every touch sent shock waves of goosebumps down her spine. Her skin was on fire under his hands, and she couldn't help but run her hands through his hair as she whispered how much she loved him in between heavy breaths of desire.
SAKUSA felt euphoria flood through him with every word that left her lips as he gave her more and more kisses.
From a very young age, SAKUSA had demonstrated a minimal range of emotions, but the most prominent of them were dislike and caution. It wasn't until volleyball came into his life that he gained knowledge of friendships, teamwork, and the responsibility of being admired and relied on by others. Furthermore, it wasn't until he met USHIJIMA that he felt admiration for someone. USHIJIMA was someone that SAKUSA looked up to, and USHIJIMA was the one who brought out SAKUSA's competitive nature afloat.
In short, SAKUSA always needed a small push from others to grow out of his shell; this didn't mean that SAKUSA didn't have aspirations and motivations of his own, but he had a hard time acting for and because of these aspirations and motivations. When it came to KOYAMA though, he felt himself acting out of character, but what was out of character? Why did he have to restrict himself to a certain degree if he wanted to feel in love? And so, he did. He fell in love, and now that he knew that the feelings were mutual, he couldn't help but let out shaky breaths as he tasted her cherry lips.
SAKUSA felt self-conscious of his sweaty hands, but KOYAMA didn't seem to mind as she continued to be lost in his affections. SAKUSA felt safe around her, to be himself, and to grow without judgment, and those reason were enough for him to ask her a question that had been on his mind.
SAKUSA and KOYAMA let go of each other, their faces flushed bright red as they avoided looking at one another out of the sudden embarrassment that invaded them with shyness.
SAKUSA cleared his throat.
SAKUSA Tsuru, you don't have to answer right away, but I want to ask, since the moment feels right, will you...
SAKUSA (shy) ...be my girlfriend?
KOYAMA (Breathless) Kiyo, you don't even have to ask me twice!
KOYAMA (Excited) Yes! I'd love to be your girlfriend.
SAKUSA (Frozen).
KOYAMA (Amused) What?
SAKUSA (Furrows his eyebrows). I've never had a girlfriend before so let me just, take a minute to process this.
KOYAMA threw herself onto SAKUSA and wrapped her arms around his waist. Looking up at him, she smiled, and released a loud hearty laugh.
KOYAMA I-I'm sorry for laughing (wheezing) I can't!! (laughing) OH MY GOD KIYO THAT HURTS!!
SAKUSA (Embarrassed) Stop laughing!
KOYAMA Hehe (narrows her eyes).
SAKUSA Oh come on, stop looking at me like that Tsuru.
KOYAMA (Laughs). Alright. I'll stop. I wanted to ask... would you mind if I post a pic of you on my story, close friends only.
SAKUSA That's fine. I'm not going to answer my texts for today though, that's for sure. (Laughs).
KOYAMA (Excited) Let's go to the kitchen, there's better lighting there!

The couple decided to ignore the incessant notifications from their mutual friends who were undoubtedly interested in the meaning of KOYAMA's not so cryptic post.
