INT. BATHROOM — LATE AFTERNOON

KOYAMA's face flushed.

KOYAMA wove into her memory the gentle dive of SAKUSA's furrowed eyebrows which arched ever so slightly at the ends. His dark brown eyes looked over her lips, and he'd sunken his teeth into his lower lip, with a resolve to restrain himself.

It took her a good amount of restraint as well to keep herself from letting out a scream right there and then.

KOYAMA's smile dropped as she remembered why she'd hesitated.

FADE IN:

FLASHBACK

EXT. SHIRATORIZAWA ACADEMY SCHOOL GROUNDS — AFTERNOON

KOYAMA
UshiUshi,
I like you.

USHIJIMA
(Confused)
I like you too
Koyama-San.

KOYAMA
(laughs nervously).
No, like, I like
you, as in,
romantically.

USHIJIMA
(Dumbfounded)
Although I admire your
bravery to be straightforward,
I can't accept your feelings.

USHIJIMA
I don't think of dating
during high school as
something for me. You're
an amazing person Koyama-
San, but, you're still
young. You should focus
on yourself and your studies,
don't you think?

KOYAMA
(Hopes = Crushed).
(Making a comical
crying face).

KOYAMA
You're right

INT. KOYAMA'S BEDROOM — LATE AFTERNOON

KOYAMA's phone screen lit up.

KUROO
I'm sorry,
I really am.

KOYAMA
I really don't
want to hear what
you have to say.

KOYAMA
You lied to me.

KOYAMA
Worst of all,
when I needed you
the most, you pretended
to not see what I was
going through.

KOYAMA
If you wanted to figure
yourself out, you shouldn't
have used me as your
stepping stone.

KOYAMA swiped away from the conversation and turned off her phone. Tears streamed down her face as she wondered if any of KUROO's affection was actually genuine.

INT. NAKAMURA HOUSEHOLD — NIGHT

INT. NAKAMURA REN'S BEDROOM — NIGHT

The cold December air had chilled KOYAMA to the bone, but the feeling of rage coursing through her veins kept her warm with adrenaline.

NAKAMURA
You need to calm
down. You know that
Kenji can't find out
about, whatever this
is, between us.

KOYAMA
I understand why
you're scared, but,
maybe you should've
taken my brother's
opinion and your guys'
friendship more seriously
before making a move on me.

NAKAMURA
I'm sorry
okay? I regret
it. I really do.

NAKAMURA
I realized that I can't
promise to marry you. If
things don't end well,
we're just going to
hurt Kenji's feelings.

NAKAMURA
One minute you're happy,
and the next you're angry
for no reason what so ever.

NAKAMURA
It's just...too hard
for me to love someone
like you.

KOYAMA
(Shocked)
We're done.

NAKAMURA
We can still be
friends right?
For Kenji's sake.

KOYAMA
(Angry)

KOYAMA sighed as she acknowledged her metaphorical dirty laundry. The brunette decided, that if she was to put her heart on the line again, she'd do it without the weight of her past.

INT. SAKUSA — KOYAMA APARTMENT — LATE AFTERNOON

KOYAMA walked out of the bathroom, towel over her shoulders and dirty clothes hidden under her arm.

As the brunette walked past the living room, BOKUTO called out her name.

BOKUTO
Koyama!! Are
you going to
join us?

KOYAMA
(Embarrassed)
Eh, I'm not that
good at video games.

KENMA
(Incredulous)
Really? You can't
be worse than Lev
though.

KOYAMA
Who?

KENMA
Nobody.

ATSUMU
Wow, that's brutal.

HINATA
You should really
consider the offer!
I'll help you!

KOYAMA
Fine, I'll
be right back.

That night, the boys had a good laugh as they taught KOYAMA how to shoot in COD. Aka, Call of Duty. The girl accidentally killed her own teammates in the beginning. After a while, she started screaming profanities at the screen every time she was brutally assassinated.
