INT. SAKUSA — KOYAMA APARTMENT — MID AFTERNOON

INT. LIVING ROOM — MID AFTERNOON

KOYAMA sat on the couch, an open textbook lay next to her, and her notebook and work sheets sat on top of the pillow on her lap. The brunette tapped her nails against the textbook's surface as she concentrated on the math problems assigned yesterday.

KOYAMA sighed with distress. The brunette feared that she'd give herself a headache, so, instead of continuing to stare at the problem, she put down her pencil and closed her notebook. KOYAMA leaned back into the couch and sighed. The sound of heavy rain in the background was comforting to her, but at the same time, on a day like today, the rain made her feel a bit disappointed.

SAKUSA and KOYAMA had planned their date for today, since they were both free this Saturday, but of course, the storm just had to crush their plans.

SAKUSA walked in on KOYAMA staring off into space. He analyzed the situation and deemed it okay to sit down next to her. The brunette was startled by the feeling of the couch sinking, and her vision focused on SAKUSA's calm expression.

SAKUSA leaned closer to her side, and lay his head in the curve of her shoulder. KOYAMA suggested that he lift his head, and with hesitation, SAKUSA did as told. KOYAMA lay her arm out, and invited SAKUSA into a partial embrace. The brunette didn't look him in the eye, but her flustered expression was enough for SAKUSA to get the hint that she really wanted him to get comfortable next to her.

SAKUSA sneaked his arm behind her and lay his hand on the curve of her hip. The raven lay his head in it's original place once again, and KOYAMA's hand rubbed circles on his back.

KOYAMA
Is everything
okay?

KOYAMA
(Worried)
You're unusually cuddly
today.
I don't mind it though.

SAKUSA
I'm okay, thank you for
asking though. I came
into the living room, and
I noticed you were stressing
out. How're you doing in
school?

KOYAMA lay her head on top of SAKUSA's. Her heart leaped out of her rib cage and dropped to her stomach. A shaky sigh left her lips as her senses heightened in response to SAKUSA's body heat. KOYAMA had already fallen in love, but every single day, SAKUSA managed to sweep her off her feet, over and over again.

At moments like these, in which SAKUSA expressed a soft side, KOYAMA felt like the luckiest girl in the world, and she really was the luckiest girl in the world. KOYAMA inhaled the scent of lavender in SAKUSA's hair, and she released her breathe with a small laugh.

KOYAMA
I'm a bit stressed because
the classes that are
dragging
my grades are math and
history.

KOYAMA
First of all,
I don't hate math but
I do hate ratios, and
doing stupid graphs.
Second, history is important,
I know that, but I fall asleep
every single day in that class.

SAKUSA
(Frowns).
You fall asleep
in class? Everyday?

SAKUSA
Are you trying to
fail the class
Tsuru?

KOYAMA
Kiyo don't judge
me like that!

KOYAMA
(Taps his back).
Are you mad?

SAKUSA
I'm not mad, I'm worried
about you. 

SAKUSA
I know how smart you are,
but you procrastinate,
sleep late, and you get
stressed with your homework
enough to not eat for hours
because you've got your nose
deep in the books.

SAKUSA
At this rate, you're going
to make yourself sick Tsuru.

SAKUSA
You could've done your homework
yesterday, and you know that if
you'd asked me to help you, I would.
Yet, you were planning to do it
tomorrow, in a rush? Because today
was supposed to be our date?

SAKUSA pulled away from KOYAMA's side, and the brunette couldn't even miss his touch, because in a split second, SAKUSA took her face in his hands. KOYAMA slowly pushed away her things and the pillow on her lap to turn her body toward him.

SAKUSA
(Nervous)
Fuck it.

SAKUSA
Tsuru, I like you.

SAKUSA
(Blushing).
I really really like
you, and I want to
take care of you,
love you, and respect you,
but you have to do the same
for yourself, not because
I say so, but because you're
an amazing person, and you
deserve the same care, love, and respect from yourself.

KOYAMA's hands reached for SAKUSA's face. The two of them laughed as they held each other.

KOYAMA
Thanks Kiyo
(Shy)
I have to say...

KOYAMA
You also hold a special place in
my heart, because you're honest
with me, and the bonus is that
you're handsomely cleaner
than anyone else I know.

KOYAMA
There's more I wish I could say,
but I don't rally have the words
to express how much I really
really like you as well.
