46 - Curious

LINO'S POV

I opened my eyes and saw a familiar white-colored ceiling.

Yeah. Nasa infirmary ako. Just like the first time that I've arrived here in the academy. I looked around and checked the surrounding.

It's different now. I have someone beside me sleeping calmly.

I lifted my hands and carress his hair. Sobrang thankful ako that I have Troy beside me now. I feel so complete and confident, and safe at the same time.

Humikab ito. Nagising ko ata siya dahil sa ginawa ko sa kanyang buhok.

Natawa ako.

"Fuck you're awake. Okay ka lang ba? Do you want anything?", natataranta nitong tanong sa akin.

See? Yung cold, arrogant, grumpy guy na kilala ko noon, ganito na siya ngayon. Hahaha.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya and smile sincerely. Nag calm down naman ito at ngumiti nang tipid.

"I'm alright, Troy. Calm down.", mahinang sabi ko dito at ngumiti.

Huminga naman ito nang malalim at sumeryoso ng tingin sa akin. "Please don't do it again.", banggit nito na may halong pag-aalala. "Don't use that fucking legendary spell ever again.", may diin niyang sabi. Ramdam ko namang medyo humigpit ang kapit niya sa kamay ko.

"Promise. That will the last time I'll use it.", sagot ko dito.

He kissed my hands and my forehead. Grabe. I never thought that he will be this kind of guy. Napakasweet!

"Tulog pa tayo please?", tanong ko at ngumuso dito. Natawa naman ito. "Damn so cute.", komento niya na kinatawa naming dalawa.

THIRD PERSON POV

"Daaaamn! That kid! I swear I'll kill him when I got the chance.", galit na sigaw ni Lucius. Nakatingin lang ang mga kasamahan nito sa kanya.

"He casted a very powerful legendary spell. The legendary light that slays the deemed enemy of the caster, Grimoire Law.", komento ni Axel.

"Hindi lang yun. He healed the winners, including us, using the Light Magic that can only be used by the Light Element Holder.", sabi ni Alanis.

"In following rounds, given the chance, let us eliminated that kid.", seryosong banta ni Lucius.

Sa kabilang banda, maging ang mga royalties ay di maiwasang pag usapan ang kamangha-manghang pangyayari sa battle arena.

"He is so cool out there. Never felt and saw such amazing magical show off even before. ", panimulang sabi ni Prinsipe Ezekiel.

"He managed to cast an exhausting regeneration and healing spell to a bunch of people. Extraordinary.", sabi ni Prinsipe Yin.

"Can I just say na ang OA niyo? Surely he has no match with me.", mayabang na sabi ni Prinsipe Gabriel.

Napaikot nalang ng mata ang mga kapatid nito.

"Don't forget kuya that Lino granted me the Power of Extension. If you'll fight him, sa kanya ako pupusta.", asar ni Prinsipe Arthur sa kanyang kapatid.

Nagtawanan naman ang mga prinsipe dahil sa tinuran ng bunso nilang kapatid. "What the!? Are you fucking serious with that, Arthur? Wala kang tiwala sakin?", di makapaniwalang tanong ni Prinsipe Gabriel.

Lumingon pa ito sa kanyang mga nakatatandang kapatid ngunit tanging iling lamang ang natanggap nito.

Lalo silang tumawa ng sumimangot ako dahil sa kanilang mga naging reaksyon.

Napuno ng tawanan ang palasyo dahil sa asaran ng mga prinsipe.

CARLO'S POV

Gusto ko sanang puntahan si Lino dahil sa nangyari pero wag na lang. Baka suntukin pa ako ng kumag na bantay niya dahil sa napaka possessive nito.

Hawakan ko nga lang sa braso si Lino, nag aalboroto na yang si Troy, pano pa kaya kung dadalawin ko di ba? Hahaha. Pag labas na lang niya tyaka ko siya kakausapin.

Nasa kwarto ako ngayon, sa dorm namin ni Lino. And up until now, napapaisip ako sa Magic Festival na nangyari.

Nag mumuni muni ako while staring at the ceiling.

You know what, I've been practicing the Devil Slaying Magic bestowed to me by my father before he died.

By that time, I remember that Art. The Power that Slays the Demon, the Devil Slaying Magic.

And now I'm thinking, how did Lino know about that Secret Art? Paano niya rin nalaman that I possessed one? Is he a mind reader? A seer? Ano ba yon?

Sinasabi niya rin about the magic of the royalties na makapangyarihan yon, by merely watching a portion of it.

Hays. Its not that Im doubting Lino. I'm just curious.

Another thing is that, he used a Time Arc. Nag research ako about don and sabi ng mga libro. Its only once in a lifetime that a Time Arc can be summoned by a powerful Time Magic User.

That does mean, Lino is a Time Magic User as well? Did he visit my past para malaman niya ang magic ko? Or did he visit the future para malaman niya ang kailangan ko?

Grrrrr. Nalilito na ako. Pero kahit ano pa man, tanggap ko kaibigan ko.

He helped me achieved one of my dreams. I'll promise I'll be by his side no matter what.

I slowly close my eyes.

I'm sleepy.
