Each time Nico saw a demigod suffer inevitable almost-death, he would walk up to that demigod, bless him or her silently and whisper, "May death never stop you." The demigods that had been blessed this way never turned into vengeful spirits and instead served the living world in every way they could, assisting demigods who were alive and doing as much as they were able to.
