Every Christmas, Percy's mom would make a gingerbread house. The thing that made Percy like the gingerbread house the most was instead of being decorated with colourful candy, it was only decorated with blue candy. Many types of candy, just blue. He liked the blue candy that his mom used to bring home to him all the time before he found out he was a demigod the most. To top it all off, it also had a blue sugar crystal lake. When he was younger though, he always asked one question.
"Mommy, why is there a fork in the water?" Little Percy would exclaim curiously, pointing at the tiny lake.
Sally just smiled. "That's not exactly a fork, sweetie, but it's there So that you know that Daddy will always be with you during every single Christmas."
