Long after The Giant War, the Seven were growing old. When Piper finally died of old age, she left her cornucopia to her son in her will. Her son swore he would honour his mother and always use it to do good. It was passed on for generations, until finally the face of the earth resulted into a world of post-apocolyptic, chaotic horror. A section in North America was divided into 13 areas, known as districts, with each having their own properties. They were ruled by a city called the Capitol in a place called Panem. The first time, people rebelled against the Capitol, but lost and hence the birth of The Hunger Games. District 13 was completely destroyed in the process. Each year, 24 children, one boy and one girl aged 12-18 from the remaining districts, were to be reaped and forced to participate. In the first games, one of them, a boy from District 5, was especially upset. His name was Kurt Grace. He stood on the pedestal, staring at the mutated cornucopia that sat in the middle of the arena, bearing survival tools. He couldn't believe it. He surrendered the magical item, passed down from his great-great-great-great-great-great and who knows how many more grandmother, Piper McLean to Probanus Snow. They changed it, made it completely different. He clutched a piece of crumbling paper in his hands. He held back a tear. The giant thing in the middle meant something. It had been through history. The games began, but he just turned and ran. When he was all alone, he read that paper.

To all my future children and grandchildren, use my Cornucopia well. Never for evil.

Piper McLean.

And he got up. He couldn't lose. He would make sure that the Cornucopia wasn't misused and transformed in vain. He won that year. All thanks to the giant horn standing stiff in the arena. Years later, The Hunger Games was still hosted, by none other that Coriolanus Snow, son of Probanus. But the descendants of Jason and Piper Grace carried on winning. From every district, all were Victors related. Up until Peeta Mellark, whose maternal grandfather was the great X8 grandson of Piper and Jason. Some people said it was talent, but from up above, Piper was looking down on them and giving her blessings.

I wanted to try something new, so I did a crossover. Was this one good? Did it even make sense? I don't know. But should I make crossovers from different fandoms? Tell me in the comments, cream puffs! Besides, this chapter is quite confusing.

Question: Best, or worst (not particularly in that order) fangirl attack?

Mine was after I watched Divergent in the cinemas. I was screaming so loud and I could've sworn my cousin was next to me a moment before...

Short A/N: So originally I said Peeta was related to Piper and Jason by his paternal grandfather, but I changed it to maternal grandfather. Just telling!
