One particular day at CHB, a fellow camper made it known of his affections for Piper. A child of one of the minor gods, he sent her flowers and candy and all that sappy stuff anonymously, under the alias Your Future Boyfriend.
Piper, of course, told Jason all about this. He assured her that he would solve everything and well, he kinda did.
The next time the secret admirer arrived, Jason was there. He hid in a not so obvious spot nearby, well out of sight. When the secret admirer came to deliver his gifts to Piper, he noticed a small note.
Dear So-Called Future Boyfriend Of My Girlfriend,
You're gonna die. In about a minute.
Sincerely with hate,
Your So-Called Future
Girlfriend's Boyfriend
He didn't REALLY die though. Mr. Secret Admirer looked nervous as he dropped the note tentatively. Still clutching the gifts, he stepped back and started to retrace his steps when BAM.
Thunder that seemingly came 'out of no where' struck him. Being a demigod he, of course had some experience with something similar to this. Still, he was sent to the infirmary, where he was treated with further care.
So, in conclusion, don't mess with a person who has a demigod son of Jupiter on their side.
[You could say Piper was 'thunderstruck' when she met Jason, but Mr Secret Admirer was literally thunderstruck when HE first indirectly came in contact with Jason.]
