Annabeth And Halloween (Headcanon)

Annabeth never really enjoyed halloween. During the ever-so-rare times she went trick-or-treating as a kid, she would freak out because the fake spiders that were set up as decorations,would scare the living daylights out of her. Her first year of trick-or-treating, she ran home crying at the third house because a giant spider (a fake one, of course) was hanging right above the doorstep. She only went once more after that, and that was because she had to take her brothers. That's why her dad never put them in the house during Halloween. Once, he did and for that whole day she stayed in her room until her dad got rid of them. But this year she was ready. She had Percy and all her friends with her and she wasn't a kid anymore.

Besides, Percy volunteered, out of all things he could've been, to dress up as those people from pest control to protect her from them, even though they both knew they were realistically fake. That gesture made her happy, so knew she was more than ready to face all the Halloweens in the years to come with all of them by her side.

Are spiders bugs or insects? They're arachnids. So does that count as neither one? Some say they're insects, some say they're not. Pineapples are berries according to my sister. I like cheese. I also got cotton pineapples topped with arachnids.

Sadly, I don't have any because I'm Malaysian and we don't celebrate Halloween here.

But a few of the houses in my neighborhood have Halloween decorations because there are a few angmohs here. (Angmoh means Caucasian, I just wanted to put some M'sian slang into that XD) WHILE YOU GUYS GET FREE CANDY I HAVE TO BUY MY OWN

But anyways, I hope you guys like this headcanon. I'm personally not satisfied with this and I might edit it some more but then again, I thought of the idea and wrote it all in about 10 minutes so...
