"How could you Jason?! She's a Greek." Jason sighed. He and Reyna were sitting in a restaurant in New Rome. She wanted to have a private meeting with him. Piper was currently in the training grounds with a few people. Jason brought Piper along with him get to know people at Camp Jupiter better and she was accepting Reyna. After all she was a daughter of the love goddess and understood Reyna's feelings for him before and after their relationship. But after the war with Gaia, Reyna was still against his relationship with Piper.
"Reyna, we've been through this. I love her, and that's final. I don't care if it's against Roman law to love a Greek."
"Jason," she warned, "you might have given up your praetorship for Frank but this is unacceptable! You were once a leader, and now you're setting this as an example for your peers?" Jason looked and gave her a grim expression.
"Reyna, I intend to do what's best for camp and this is the perfect example." Reyna raised her eyebrows.
"How so?"
Jason looked at her for a moment then finally said "I'm teaching them it's okay to fall in love. It's okay to be with the one you love. Rules are rules but sometimes they're meant to be broken. And I love Piper." he smiled at her. "I hope you can understand that. Have a good day."
He called for a waiter and paid for the food. He got up from his seat and bumped into Piper.
"Pipes! What are you doing here? I thought you were training." Jason stammered nervously. "I finished 20 minutes ago. And by the way, I didn't hear anything." she winked at me. He sighed with relief. Then she smirked.
"Except for the part where you said you loved me." Jason felt himself turn beet red. He turned to look around behind him and saw that Reyna had left. "You heard that?" She nodded and smiled. "And I love you even more now." When they both kissed, he knew that Piper was the one for him and nothing could ever separate them, through all Hades, he would love her endlessly.
