During Easter, Percy gave Annabeth an egg. On it was painted 'Open it up Wise Girl ;)'. Annabeth opened it. Inside was another egg. She opened it again. Inside was yet another egg. She kept on opening the eggs underneath each one. She noticed that each time she opened one, Percy looked more and more nervous. When she got to the last egg, she cracked it open and screamed. Percy laughed. "How the heck did you get a spider in an EGG?" she yelled, smacking him on the head and throwing it away. "That's not your Easter present Annabeth. Ta-da!" He produced another egg from behind him, probably been holding it the whole time. Annabeth took it.
"I swear, Seaweed Brain, if there are more spiders I will-" The egg cracked open and Annabeth stared inside. "I will... I will... Oh gods Percy." she said, getting teary. "I'm so sorry." Percy smiled. "It's okay. Sorry for scaring you earlier." Annabeth hugged him, clutching an engagement ring in her hands. "I don't care about that, you idiot." And in that short moment, she judo flipped him.
"I LOVE YOU, YOU SEAWEED BRAIN!"
Percy groaned. "Love you too."
"And by the way, you don't propose to people by scaring them, Seaweed Brain. It's just wrong."
"Point taken."
