To kick back from my break, I think we should start this with our new and fairly unexpected same-gender ship, Solangelo. Now the moment I saw this I said to myself, "I ship it." You know why? Because Nico does truly deserve someone, be it a boy or a girl. I think that if he's happy with who he is and who he's with, I'm okay. Let it be a romantic relationship or a best friendly one, I don't mind. Oh, and when I post the parts of this book, I will publish one per day, so for today it's this! Tomorrow... you'll see ;)

"Eat."
"No."
"Eat!"
"No."
"Here comes the ballistae, zrrrrri-"
"Shut. Up."
"Please? Pleaseeee? Pretty pretty please? Ple-"
"Okay, okay, fine. Just stop."
"Thank you."
Nico and Will were in the infirmary where Nico was resting on a bed. He was always there, not only to help Will but because he had done some extreme shadow traveling for the past few days. Will, who was always there to 'welcome' him when he got back from wherever he came from, always scolded him about pushing himself too far.
Right now, Will was trying to feed him some ambrosia and real food, but Nico was resisting. In fact, he realized he was acting like such a kid, crossing his arms and without knowing it, pouting. But he gave finally gave in because only realizing it for the first time, Will had an amazingly persuasive voice. Hardly anyone ever managed to persuade him before. Or maybe he was being annoying and Nico was so done with that. He was unsure whether he preferred the former or latter.
Will gave Nico a square of ambrosia with a satisfied expression but he swatted it away. It landed on the foot on his bed and Will stared at him with his mouth gaping open. Nico gave him a small smirk. "Psych."
"You... you... Nico! How could- why would!" Will tried to sound mad, and maybe he was, but he sounded, strangely enough, hilarious.
Nico smiled prominently and that brought a warning look on Will's face. He frowned, but Nico saw amusement in his eyes. Maybe Nico really was acting like a child. Even the thought of that surprised him.
"Don't make me use one of my doctor tools."
Nico rolled his eyes. "Yeah, your doctor tools are so scary. I should be crying right now."
"You should. I'm just gonna call someone in. As my doctor tool. Be prepared." Will left Nico in an unfazed state. How bad could this person be, whoever it was?
"Boo hoo, I'm absolutely terrified." Nico said sarcastically.
"You know what Nico? I'll bring you back some corn to fix that attitude."
Nico turned as red as a tomato. He was glad it was 'red as a tomato' and not 'yellow as corn' because that would have been pretty ironic. He really should have never told Will about the corn incident.
"Whatever." Nico said, but Will must have been too far to hear him.
He waited. And to pass the time, he even ate the square of ambrosia on his bed, just to get on Will's nerves for bringing in someone for no reason. Soon he heard the door open and heard Will talking.
"Yeah, I just need him to eat, that's all. It's like he's allergic or something, he won't go near the food. That's why I brought you here."
"No worries, man. I got this."
Nico muttered a curse under his breath. Not him.
Anyone but him.
Nico counted the minutes he had left before Will appeared, bringing his special guest in. They looked like brothers in the same sort of way, but with a lot of difference too. Just the hair and the eyes but that was where the similarities ended.
