Here's the plot.

Everything she had ever known, had gone down in flames.
Literally.
As she stood in front of her cosy home engulfed in flames, the home she had worked all those shifts at the cafe for, the one thing she could look forward to everyday.
It's all in ashes now, and she can't find the will to gather them.

Lily Haven just moved to Italy. Having finally turned 18 and breaking all ties with her toxic family, she is finally able to buy a house with all the money she has saved over the years. She dropped out of college and started work in a cafe there.
Life currently couldn't be better for her.
Until she spills coffee over him.

Jake Ryler is the boss of the Italian Mafia. Having had the biggest loss right as he took over when he turned 18, he has been struggling to hold this gang up.
He has no reason to, honestly. He could say leave and everyone would leave.
He didn't have anyone to protect with his power.
Until he got burned by the coffee she spilled.
