Chapter 30~ Promise

Tris POV
"Well.." He begins. Then he takes something out of the small pocket I didn't know he had in his trunks. It's a small black box, nothing special just a shiny smooth black box. He opens it and what stares at me is special. "Tris.. This isn't an engagement ring so don't worry. But it's a promise ring. Tris prior I love you. And I promise to love you like you should be loved. I promise to love you with everything I have in me. I promise to love you till I can't live any more, till I'm no longer on this earth. Wait! I change that!" He says.

"I will still love you even when I'm gone. That how deep my love is. Tris I promise to protect you, to keep you from harm. I promise to be the man you desire, the man you deserve." He says and he slips the ring one me. "Wait!" I say. He looks up and he looks scared. "What's that writing?" I ask smiling. He lets a breathe and laughs a little. He shows me.

As bright as the stars

"Tobias!" I gasp. "I remember when you said that.." I start still looking at it. "I know. Me too. And it's true tris, you shine brighter then anyone and anything. You shine like a million stars." He says and slips it on. Wet salty tears slide down my face and I wrap my arms around his neck and bring his lips to mine. I kiss him with all the love I have. I pull back but not far, our foreheads still touching and there's enough space for me to speak. "No ones.. No ones loved me like you have." I say and I look into his blues eyes. "But.. You should be loved like that tris." He says and kiss him hard again.

There on the beach sitting in the warm sand listening to the rushing and roaring of waves, we sit there losing and holding each other. We sit there and promised each other a forever.
