Tris POV
I open my eyes to find the sun shinning in through the window, and the other half of the bed empty and cold. I sit up and get out of bed, grabbing a sweater since the morning breeze is quite cold. I walk into the kitchen, my bare feet frozen against the hard wood. And there he is, Tobias. Sitting at the kitchen table, dinking coffee, and scrolling through his phone.

"Morning." I say. He looks up, "'Morning." He says with a small smile, almost unnoticeable. "How are you?" I ask carefully because I can't really tell his mood. "Fine." Crabby. I nod and go into the bedroom to get ready, it's Sunday so it's a pretty low key day. I shower, and change into a light cream colored sundress, my hair in a fishtail braid and my make up natural and simple.

I walk back out and find Tobias on the couch with the TV on, also talking on the phone. I can't tell who he's talking to, but he doesn't seem happy. Upset. He hangs up and sighs loudly. I grab a water bottle from the fridge and when I turn around, I find Tobias staring at me.

"What?" I ask taking a seat on a bar stool by the island in the kitchen. "Nothing. You just look really nice." He says. The words shock me a little, "Thanks." I say with a genuine smile. He motions me over so I get up and go sit next to him on the couch, my legs laid out on his. He smiles at me and this time it's more noticeable.

"I'm sorry for this morning, if I sounded rude." He says. "Its fine." I say. "Its not, I'm just.. stressed I guess." He says. "The nightmare last night, really drained me." He admits. "I'm sure it did." I tell him. "And I'm stressed about the game this Friday." He says. "Baby, you'll do fine." I say lightly running my hands through his hair. "Thanks. I have to hit the gym a lot this week." He tells me while turning the TV off. "Well maybe I can come with you one day." I suggest. "I'd like that." He says and kisses me lightly.

"I just really hope I don't get any more nightmares, I can't deal with that." He tells me. You can visibly see how it tore him apart, and how much pain it put him through. "I know. I think you'll sleep soundly the rest of the week." I tell him honestly. "With you sleeping next to me, I know I will." He says before kissing me again.
