Tris POV
After the fiasco this morning, Tobias is better and going to heal fast. He's had a smile on his face for the last twenty minutes and it's actually made me happy to see him like this.

"Come on Tris! Don't want to be late to graduation." He says and I grab my heels. He walks in dressed up nicely and I finish the final strap on my left shoe. "Ready!" I say and skip over to him. He kisses my cheek and we head down to the parking lot.

"Isn't there a party afterwards?" I ask strapping in. "Yeah, but I have something else planned." He says and I don't ask more questions, because I know he won't answer them.

We get to the school and it's crowded, more than usual. We walk in and find Shauna, Zeke, Uriah, and Christina. "Here, I picked it up for you." Chris says handing me my robe. "Thanks." Tobias gets his too and we all out them on.

"Do we have to wear these?" Uriah complains about the hats as we walk to the field. Marlene scolds him and we find our seats.

I nudge Tobias who's sitting next to me, "What?" He asks turning to me. "My parents are here." I say. I had seen them sitting in the bleachers and was surprised they made it. "That's good.. right?" He asks.

"I think so, I just haven't seen them in so long." I tell him and am tempted to look at them again. Caleb is seated a few rows ahead of me. He already knows where he's going to college, he got a scholarship to Yale, and he's ecstatic.

"Do you wish your mom was here to see you graduate?" I ask Tobias, and the question takes him off guard. "Umm, I guess maybe. It would've been nice yes, but.." Tobias starts and grabs my hand in his. "I have you, and that's all I need." He adds and I kiss him.

It's beautiful out today, warm but not hot. Sunny but some clouds in the sky. There's a breeze but it's not super windy.

"I signed up to read something." I whisper to Tobias since it's starting.

"Really?" He asks surprised.

"Yeah, it's after everyone get's their diploma's." I add.

"Well good luck." He says kissing my cheek. I smile and try to listen to the ceremony.

After about ten minutes, the principal starts calling kids up. Person after person goes up, smiles and tears. You can feel the happiness and joyful energy here.

Christina goes up and she has a huge smile on her face the whole time that makes me giggle a little.

Uriah next and it's funny how some didn't think he'd graduate.

Shauna next and something romantic happens, Zeke walks her up there. I have tears just think of them and their love story, how amazing it is to witness.

Zeke gets his while he's up there, then will goes. Followed by Marlene, and Lynn.

Then I get to watch my brother go up, and the look on his face is something that makes you happy for that person. He looks proud, and grateful.

"Beatrice Prior." My name is called and I kiss Tobias before going up. I walk up and I'm sweating, because I'm scared I'll trip and fall and the fact that I'm in front of so many people. I get my diploma and shake his hand. Then take a seat behind on the stage, having to wait since I have a speech to give.

"Four Eaton." I smile hearing his name, and in my heart knowing his real name. He looks to me after accepting it and I mouth 'I love you'

"Now we have a special treat, a speech written by Tris prior which she'd like to share." The principal announces and I'm shaking.

"The book and movie The Notebook has been such an influence in my life, and big part of my relationship too." I start, holding the crumpled up piece of paper I wrote this on in my shaky hands.
